SEASON 2 RESULTS
FINEST HOUR: 03/06/22
Finest Hour began with the PSA Tag Team Championship on the line! Johnny Warren and Pletch have been at odds for quite some time now, but they finally appeared to be on the same page. This was evident when the two went by their team name: The War Hogs. The Disciples also underwent a significant change, as they have fully embraced the Egyptian culture of their new leader, Undkban. The battle was intense, but Johnny Warren pinned Draco following the Shattering Infinity to crown NEW PSA Tag Team Champions!
Next saw the rivalry between Samuel Binglebottom and Keith come to a head in a No Disqualification match. Keith was originally not cleared to compete due to the injuries he sustained on Ultimate Hour, but he signed a waiver stating that PSA was not responsible for any injuries he may have received during this match. Keith went through Hell and back in this fight, earning the love and praise of the PSA Faithful in the process. Despite having the match won, Binglebottom decided to stick it to Keith by winning with a roll-up. After the post-match celebration, S.O.B. hit Keith with a Bottom Feeder and walked out of the arena with a satisfied grin on his face.
The following kontest was a 3 way for the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship. Bruno Bolousek, Drew Pender, and Jeff “The Chef” Jonsun caused carnage all around the ring. In the end, Bolousek submitted Jonsun with the Russian Accordion to become the NEW PSA Ultimate Hour Champion.
Leonard Lopez and Andrew Frankowski faced off in the Finals of the Battle Nexus Tournament. Both men were quite impressive, but Lopez hit a Super Jawbreaker to win the match. He will challenge for the PSA World Championship on the first episode of PSA: Season 3.
Josh Grabowski finally got his hands on The Observer after weeks of torment. Grabowksi came out swinging with 2 10KGs in quick succession, but it was not enough to put down this imposter. The match continued on for a bit longer, and The Observer even hit a 10KG of his own, to no avail. The Observer’s antics were finally vanquished by Grabowski when he got the victory with a third and final 10KG.
The inaugural PSA Women’s World Champion was crowned in a 4 way elimination match between Azura, Marcee, Sheri Nichols, and Brittany. Brittany was first eliminated by Sheri Nichols, Azura was eliminated by Marcee, and Marcee last eliminated Sheri Nichols to become the NEW PSA Women’s World Champion.
The Main Event got underway as Undkban finally got a match for the PSA World Championship against his former master, Corwin. This was a war, as both men did everything they could do to destroy their opponent both physically and mentally. Undkban won with the Ankhasault, resulting in a NEW PSA World Champion. Although Corwin’s reign of terror has come to an end, it appears that a darker, scarier reign may soon come to fruition.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 02/27/22
Ultimate Hour began with the highly-anticipated Famous Face-Off match! Geralt was removed from PSA first by The Terminator following the Choppa. The Terminator was eliminated next by Leaf Sinn. DDTyson, a PSA Original, was out next by Shang-Chi’s Ten Rings. Finally, Shang-Chi managed to eliminate Leaf Sinn, another PSA Original, to secure his place on the Season 3 roster!
Corwin came out to address Undkban’s betrayal last week. He said that he gave the Disciples everything they could ever ask for. On top of fame, recognition, and Championships, he truly wanted the best for them. It was clear now that the three of them never felt the same way. Corwin noted that since he created them, it is now his prophecy to destroy them. Undkban came out, but he was not there to speak. The two men brawled to the point where several referees and backstage staff had to pull them apart.
The first Battle Nexus Semifinals match waged on between Greg Richards and Andrew Frankowski. Both men gave it their all, but it was Frankowski that got the win with The Sandbag.
Jeff Jonsun and Bruno Bolousek met in the ring for the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship contract signing. Before anything was made official, Jonsun demanded that he should get to pick the stipulation for the match. Bolousek said he didn’t care and signed the contract, as he is confident there is nothing Jonsun could do to prevent him from becoming Champion. Jonsun was shocked, as he was expecting his proposal to be shot down. In a panic, he declared that he wanted a 3 Way match. Cory Parcher reluctantly agreed by announcing a 10 Man battle royal later tonight to determine the third participant.
Trina Cooper finally got her hands on Anne Griffin after weeks of torment between one another. Both women gave it their all, and it was impossible to predict a winner. Cooper ended up locking in a guillotine choke for long enough to make Anne Griffin pass out, giving her the victory.
Next on Ultimate Hour was an eerie video of The Observer’s response to Josh Grabowski’s challenge last week. The figure said that Grabowski should not be upset; he should be honored. The Observer’s loss showed him that the DDTyson persona was inherently flawed, and therefore it had to be abandoned. If Grabowski was the only one that could beat him, it must mean that Grabowski is a naturally better option. The Observer does not want to fight Grabowski, but he will grant him the match as a token of his gratitude.
The 10 Man Battle Royal to determine the third competitor in the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship match at Finest Hour got underway next. The order of entrants were as follows: Bordt, Jim E, Dr. Chris Chan, Chad Broski, Doctor Phase, Jimmy, El Chupapolla, Fuerte Francisco, Brad Cooper, and Drew Pender. Doctor Phase was made a star in this match, as he eliminated Jim E, his tag team partner Dr. Chris Chan, and Fuerte Francisco in rapid succession. After Jimmy eliminated Chad Broski, Phase also eliminated Bordt. Brad Cooper continued to make an example of Jimmy by eliminating him next. Drew Pender eliminated El Chupapolla and Doctor Phase eliminated Brad Cooper, leaving only two men left in the match. Doctor Phase was super impressive in this bout, but Drew Pender used his experience to secure the victory. Although some would argue that he is not deserving of a Championship match after losing his Hardcore Title only two weeks prior, he still earned this win.
Johnny Warren and Pletch came out to the ring to respond to the Disciples’ attack from last week. Warren said that the two of them made a mistake for what they did, and they will pay for this mistake at Finest Hour when they lose their Tag Team Championship. Pletch was about to continue the conversation, but he was interrupted by Draco and Drov. The four men broke into an all-out brawl that took them around the entire arena.
Azura and Marcee faced Sheri Nichols and Brittany in a tag team match before their upcoming PSA Women’s World Championship match at Finest Hour. The action between the teams were nonstop, as even Azura and Nichols brawled on the outside of the ring when they weren’t tagged in. Brittany got her team the win when she pinned Marcee after hitting the Britt-Knee.
Samuel Binglebottom came down to the ring and called out Keith directly. He said that he wants to end this once and for all in a match against Keith right now! Keith was not ready for this challenge, but he ran out eager to face his fierce rival. Right as the match was about to start, Samuel low-blowed Keith and proceeded to lay into him with any weapon he could find at ringside. He laughed at the defenseless man and said that he would never face a loser like Keith on tv unless it actually meant something. However, he will gladly get a huge pay day by facing Keith at Finest Hour. This is when medical personnel came down to the ring to stretcher Keith out of the arena. S.O.B. added salt to the wound by pushing over the strencher and beating up Keith even more. To spice up their upcoming match, Binglebottom announced that its stipulation will be No Disqualification.
Benjamin Binglebottom and Leonard Lopez main evented Ultimate Hour with the final Battle Nexus Semifinals match. This was one of the greatest matches in PSA history, with each man hitting everything they had at one another. After 2 Jawbreakers and a Super Jawbreaker, Lopez was able to eke out the victory. Benjamin was understandably heartbroken, but he had nothing to be ashamed of. The PSA Faithful gave him a standing ovation to close the show.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 02/20/22
Ultimate Hour began with the Undisputed PSA World Champion, Corwin. He came down to the ring and for the first time, he actually looked happy. The Champion stated that not only has he finally fulfilled the prophecy, but there is no one left in PSA to challenge him. Corwin was then met with one of his followers, Undkban. He came out there to congratulate him, but before he could say anything, he froze for a brief second. In an instant, Undkban attacked Corwin with no remorse! He lifted the World Championship over the corpse of his former leader, making his true intentions clear. As he was walking to the back, Draco and Drov were shocked. Undkban quickly commanded “I am in charge now. Your targets have been made clear. Show them that they must still repent.” Finally, Undkban threw his PSA Ultimate Hour Championship at Cory Parcher and left without a trace.
The first match of the night was a Battle Nexus Tournament match between Greg Richards and Keith. Samuel Binglebottom interfered throughout, but he seemed to be a hindrance to both competitors. Ultimately, S.O.B. continued his revenge on Keith by helping Greg Richards get the win.
Before the show could continue, Cory Parcher came out to address the state of the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship. Parcher said that since Undkban left without defending the Title, the Championship is now vacant. Parcher was about to announce a replacement match to determine the next Champion, but he was interrupted by Jeff Jonsun. Since he is the CKC Holder, he sees no reason why he can’t exchange his contract right now. Parcher agrees, making Jeff Jonsun the NEW PSA Ultimate Hour Champion! The celebration started right away, but it came to a screeching halt when the music of Bruno Bolousek was heard. The Moscow Menace was infuriated that his Championship match was stolen from him here tonight. Cory Parcher said he understood his frustration, so he will instead defend against Jonsun tonight. Before the match was made official, Jonsun said “are there any rules saying that I have to defend here tonight?” Parcher said that there are no official rules stating that he has to defend tonight, but it has been the precedent since the beginning of the Title’s history that it be defended every single week. Jonsun responded with “Well in that case I’m out of here, have a great night.” Bolousek was understandably infuriated before Parcher mentioned that while the Ultimate Hour Championship does not technically have to be defended every week, it does have to be defended on a consistent basis. Therefore, Jeff Jonsun will defend the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship at Finest Hour.
Ethan Vandiver and Leonard Lopez collided in the second Battle Nexus Quarterfinals Match of the show. One Jawbreaker was not enough to put down “The Ghost,” but Lopez was able to hit another one for the win.
Drew Pender came out next to confront the PSA Faithful about his loss at PSA: Issue 22. He appeared to have a lot on his mind, but before he could say anything, he was interrupted by Leaf Sinn. “The Dragon” said that Pender has been ducking him for months now, so now was the perfect time to confront the former Hardcore Champion. Pender was infuriated for being disrespected like this, so he shoved Sinn out of the way and stormed out of the arena. Before he could fully leave, though, Pender turned around and noted that although he no longer has a Title around his waist, he is still the “King of Hardcore,” and he will prove it in a steel cage match right now!
While the production team was scrambling to find and assemble a steel cage, we caught up with Johnny Warren and Pletch following their singles match with one another at PSA: Issue 22. The two met with a therapist to finally settle their philosophical differences with one another. They are not perfect, but they have made steps in the right direction to being a real team. As they were wrapping up their session, they were attacked by Draco and Drov! It appears that the targets Undkban referred to earlier have been revealed.
Now that the steel cage was fully assembled, the war between Drew Pender and Leaf Sinn got underway. Drew Pender had the match won, but rather than pin Leaf Sinn, he decided to climb out and escape the cage. Some would call this victory cowardice, but nevertheless, Pender left with the victory.
Anne Griffin came out next to address her attack on Trina Cooper on After Hours. Griffin revealed that she had actually been pretending to be an old woman this entire time to lure her opponents into a false sense of security. Now that the Qualifiers are over, she saw no reason to continue with this stupid gimmick. Not only is Griffin here to be the best wrestler in PSA, but she is here to become a Champion. Before she could say more, Trina Cooper ran to the ring and a brawl ensued. The animosity between these two will come to a head next week in their highly anticipated rematch.
The Battle Nexus Tournament continued with Mark Cooper vs Andrew Frankowski. The two had an excellent match, and Frankowsi hit Cooper with the Sandbag to earn the pinfall victory.
Next, Josh Grabowski called out The Observer following his attack at PSA: Issue 22. He said that The Observer was just jealous after he failed to win the Battle Nexus Tournament, and the only reason he took a cheap shot is because he knew if they faced each other man-to-man, Grabowski would walk out with the win yet again. Grabowski said that if The Observer decides to grow some balls, he can find him in the ring at Finest Hour.
Since Brittany, Sheri Nichols, and Marcee all secured victories over one another and all had a 2-1 win-loss record, all three will face Azura in a 4 Way for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Tonight, however, the three winners of Block B collided in a 3 Way to build up some momentum. Marcee ended up winning after hitting Sheri Nichols with the Period Pad and getting the pin.
The Main Event of Ultimate Hour saw Benjamin Binglebottom meet Rapido Ramirez in the last Battle Nexus Quarterfinals Match. Ramirez was riding off the biggest victory of his career last week against Josh Grabowski, so he was eager to keep this hot streak going. Unfortunately for him, Binglebottom continued to cement himself as an icon in PSA by defeating Rapido Ramirez and advancing to the Battle Nexus Semifinals.
AFTER HOURS: 02/15/22
Brittany continued her rivalry with Karen by facing her in a PSA Women’s World Championship Qualifier. It was fairly one-sided, and Brittany picked up the win via a Moonsault.
Greg Richards met Gobloid in a Battle Nexus Tournament match next. Gobloid put up a good fight, but Richards still got the win with the Bloodshed.
The last match of the PSA Women’s World Championship Qualifier was next with Trina Cooper vs Anne Griffin. Trina Cooper ended up winning with the Devastator, but Anne Griffin was having trouble standing following the match. Cooper went to aid her, but Griffin attacked and stormed off to the back with her leg being perfectly fine! What else has Griffin been lying about?
Andrew Frankowski and DDTyson faced each other in the Main Event of After Hours. Frankowski hit DDTyson with the Sandbag to move on to the next round of the Battle Nexus.
PSA: ISSUE 22: 02/13/22
The show kicked off the only way we know how: the Fifth Roster Rumble! This was undoubtedly the best one we have had so far, and the final three of Nick Fury, Spider-Man 2099, and Shang-Chi all impressed the PSA Faithful. In the end, Shang-Chi emerged with the victory.
A war for the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship waged on in a rematch between El Chupapolla and Undkban. Both men proved that they belong in PSA, but Undkban left as the Champion following an Ankhasault. After the match, Undkban looked surprisingly uninterested in the world around him. He appeared to have bigger things on his mind.
Next on PSA: Issue 22 was Episode 2 of the Jeff Jonsun Cooking Show. He decided to make the most romantic food he could possibly think of: hot wings. Jonsun has begun to attract an audience, as this grabbed the attention of Brittany, Andrew Frankowski, and Karen. Jonsun started by noting that the best wing flavor is garlic parmesan. Karen agreed with this sentiment, but Andrew and Brittany strongly disagreed. This got into a heated confrontation between the two groups that could only be resolved with an impromptu mixed tag team match.
Brittany and Andrew Frankowski proved their friendship translates to in-ring success, as Brittany pinned Karen to defeat her and Jeff “The Chef” Jonsun.
Binglebottom Enterprises wanted retribution against The Enhancers after Keith shocked everyone and beat Samuel Binglebottom last week. S.O.B. got some of his credibility back in an incredible match by pinning The Virtuoso after hitting the Bottom Feeder.
Sheri Nichols faced Marcee in a PSA Women's World Championship Qualifier with big implications. Sheri Nichols gained the victory via roll-up, which greatly upset Marcee. Marcee took her anger out on Nichols by throwing her back into the ring and initiating an all-out brawl.
Josh Grabowski and Rapido Ramirez collided in a Battle Nexus Tournament Round 1 match. Near the end of their excellent encounter, the competitors accidentally incapicitated the referee. While the referee was down, Grabowski was ready to get the win with the 10KG. However, he was met with the return of The Observer! The mysterious figure hit his own 10KG and disappeared before the referee or Ramirez knew what occurred. Ramirez used this opportunity to hit the Moonstomp and secure the biggest win of his career against the former Battle Nexus winner.
The Docs finally got their PSA Tag Team Championship opportunity against The Disciples. The Docs proved they were worthy challengers, but it was not enough to become Champions. Draco pinned Dr. Chris Chan following the Proof of Faith to retain the PSA Tag Team Championship.
Johnny Warren and Pletch’s complicated relationship hit its boiling point in their singles match against one another. Johnny Warren saw it as just another match, while Pletch found it very hard to hurt someone he considers a friend. Even so, he put up an excellent fight once Warren egged him on. Warren got the victory with the Shattering Infinity, but he had newfound respect for his partner. Before he left, Warren picked Pletch up to help him to the back.
The Main Event of PSA: Issue 22 was one of the most anticipated matchups in the history of the sport: Drew Pender vs Corwin in a Last Man Standing match. Both men proved they are PSA’s best, but only one could leave Champion. Corwin hit two Tests of Faith to defeat Drew Pender and cement himself as the true PSA World Champion.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 02/06/22
The first match of the night saw Azura face Hayley in each of their final PSA Women’s World Championship qualifying matches. Hayley gave her best performance yet, but Azura maintained her winning streak by getting the pin following the Lost in Translation.
The PSA Faithful were introduced to the first episode of the Jeff Jonsun Cooking Show! In this episode, he taught his listeners how to make his favorite food, pancakes. He encouraged everyone to tune in next week to see him make a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner.
Fuerte Francisco hoped to capture the Ultimate Hour Championship from the dominant Undkban. Francisco gave it his best, but Undkban channeled his “higher power” to win with the Pharaoh Punch. The Champion once again hesitated before leaving the ring, leading the PSA Faithful to think another beatdown was coming. Before he could do anything though, El Chupapolla came down to the ring to confront Undkban. Chupapolla said he is tired of being a background player in PSA. Not only is he a former Ultimate Hour Champion, but he is the one who beat Undkban to win the gold; he wants to do it again at PSA: Issue 22. Undkban looks infuriated, but he is able to gather his composure enough to answer “we accept.”
The Battle Nexus waged on with Benjamin Binglebottom vs Chad “The Tiger” Broski. Greg Richards was out there to occupy Benjamin, but Samuel was still backstage preparing for his match. The two had a fantastic match that culminated with a catching Bankroller and a subsequent win for Benjamin Binglebottom.
BnB stayed by the ring while Samuel Binglebottom made his entrance to face Keith in the Battle Nexus Tournament. S.O.B. was ready to squash Keith like a grape, but Keith had clearly trained since the last time we saw him. This was evident when Keith shocked everyone by hitting Samuel Binglebottom with the Shock-and-Awe and winning! The Enhancers were ecstatic to see one of their own get a win for once, and Mr. Goober was all-smiles knowing that he made the right investment. As BnB was helping Samuel to the back, he shoved them away and grabbed a microphone. He looked at Keith and said “How dare you think you beat me. Not only have I not wrestled in 4 years, but I ended my last match with a shoulder tear. You didn’t beat me. You got lucky. Keep laughing all you want, but next I’ll smack that smile off your face when Binglebottom Enterprises hands The Enhancers the beating of a lifetime.” Before Benjamin and Richards can even respond to this challenge, S.O.B. already stormed off stage.
Brittany and Sheri Nichols squared off in a PSA Women’s World Championship Qualifier match. Both women were impressive in this bout, but Brittany was the one to walk out with the victory.
Pletch walked up to Johnny Warren backstage to apologize for their loss last week, but he promises that they will do better next time. Warren said he appreciates it, but there won’t be a next time. Pletch was confused and said that they can work out their differences, but he was promptly cut off. Johnny Warren said that the only place he works out differences is in the ring, so unless Pletch wants to wrestle him next week, he’s not interested.
As Bruno Bolousek was heading down to the ring for his match, his opponent, Geralt, attacked him before the bell rang. It was a sound strategy, but one that did not stop the Moscow Menace. Bolosuek promptly hit a Marauder on Geralt for the win. Before leaving, he made Geralt pay for his attack by trying to rip him in half with the Russian Accordion.
Benjamin Binglebottom and Greg Richards were found talking next to Samuel Binglebottom’s locker room. Benjamin felt bad that Samuel lost earlier, as it definitely seemed to upset him. Richards posed an interesting question: was S.O.B. upset because he lost, or was he upset because Benjamin won? Benjamin flat out denies this, but before he could explain why, Samuel opened the door to welcome them in, saying “we need a gameplan.” The cameraman tried to follow, but Samuel shoved the camera away and slammed the door.
The Main Event of Ultimate Hour was Gobloid vs Drov. This match had huge implications, as whoever won this match would impact the Championship Unification Match at PSA: Issue 22. Since Drov pinned Gobloid with Constancy, Corwin earned the right to select the stipulation. Before the show came to a close, The Disciples beat down Dummy Wide to show their superiority over their competition. Corwin crouched over the limp body of Drew Pender to whisper “I will be the last man standing.”
AFTER HOURS: 02/03/22
A special episode of After Hours kicked off with Leonard “The Gobstopper '' Lopez vs El Chupapolla. Both men had a lot to prove in this Battle Nexus Tournament match. El Chupapolla hit the Helicopter, but Lopez was able to kick out in time. This infuriated El Chupapolla, and he took his frustrations out on the referee. This caused a disqualification, giving Lopez the victory.
Mr. Goober walked up to The Enhancers and said that he knows they have been struggling recently, but tonight they have the odds in their favor in the form of a handicap match. Magic Kitty 2567 and The Virtuoso are thrilled, but they were also unsure of who their opponent would be. The confidence that they once had deflated as soon as the Moscow Menace’s music hit. To no one’s surprise, Bruno Bolousek made short work of The Enhancers by making Magic Kitty 2567 tap out while locked in the Russian accordion.
Trina Cooper faced Hayley in a Block A Match for the PSA Women’s World Championship. This match simply came down to experience, as Cooper used her wrestling expertise to roll-up Hayley long enough for the 3 count.
Two of PSA’s top teams collided in the Main Event when Jim Squared confronted The Coopers. Both teams took each other to the limit. Both teams were so exhausted that it only took a Stockton Slap for Brad Cooper to pin Jimmy and secure the victory for his team.
AFTER HOURS: 02/01/22
Marcee and Karen collided in a Block B Match for the PSA Women’s World Championship Tournament. Karen wasn’t much competition against Marcee, who won following a devastating Period Pad.
The Docs were up next against The Enhancers. The Docs succeeded in continuing their momentum when Doctor Phase pinned The Virtuoso after the Andown.
The Season 2 Battle Nexus Tournament kicked off with Ethan Vandiver vs Brad Cooper. It was close, but Ethan Vandiver did the Time Warp again to pin Cooper for the victory.
Mark Cooper hoped to redeem his family in the Battle Nexus Tournament against Bordt. Both men hit powerful moves, but Mark Cooper eked out the victory with a second Tornado Kick.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 01/30/22
The show was opened by the reigning World Champion, Corwin. He came out to celebrate his hard-fought victory over Josh Grabowski. He started bragging about how not only has he fulfilled the prophecy, but he has defeated everyone that has stood in his way. In his eyes, there is no one left to challenge him; he can finally be happy. He begins to laugh maniacally but is quickly interrupted by Drew Pender. Pender says that Corwin is wrong. There is one man he has never defeated one-on-one, and that is the Hardcore Champion. He said that if we’re all being honest, he’s been the real world champion this whole time. Corwin takes great offense to this, so he goes to attack Drew. Pender expected this, however, and moved out of the way to avoid the strike. Corwin was left in the ring frustrated, confused, and alone.
Bordt competed against Undkban for the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship. After a back-and-forth match, Undkban retained with The Pharaoh Punch. As Undkban was leaving the ring, he froze. He immediately grabbed a chair, re-entered the ring, and attacked Bordt with no remorse. No one knows why, but he seemed to be following the commands of a higher power.
BnB made their way down to the ring for the first time in Season 2. Benjamin said that they may have come up short at Christmas Calamity, but he knows that they did their best. He knows that if they work their way back up the totem pole, it is only a matter of time before they are Champions again. Greg Richards goes to speak, but he is interrupted by the debuting Samuel Binglebottom! Samuel is Benjamin’s brother as well as one of the most talented collegiate wrestlers of all time. He comes out to give BnB a proposal: he is here because Robert Binglebottom wants him to get BnB back on track. Samuel says that if the three of them join forces, they will be unstoppable. Benjamin is on board, but Greg Richards seems hesitant. S.O.B. assures them that as long as they follow his lead, there will be no stopping Binglebottom Enterprises.
Anne Griffin met the debuting Hayley in another Block A Match for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Hayley was impressive in her first match, but “Vintage” Anne Griffin picked up the win with the Talon.
Next, Jeff Jonsun came out to the ring to celebrate his shocking Championship Kontest Contract Victory at Plugged In. His happiness was so infectious that it actually made the PSA Faithful cheer for him. Jonsun said that he never actually wanted to be a referee, but his family made him since it’s what the Jonsuns have done for generations. Now that he has this Contract, though, he doesn’t need to work for a living. Now that he has a Championship match in the palm of his hand, he has time to pursue his dreams. He will now spend most of his days pursuing his culinary passions. From now on, he shall be known as Jeff “The Chef” Jonsun.
The team of Pletch and Johnny Warren and Jim Squared faced one another in tag team action. The friction between Warren and Pletch was obvious, which allowed Jimmy to pin Pletch with the Jimmy Drop. After the match, Warren pushed Pletch out of the way and stormed out, much to the confusion of the PSA Faithful.
Dr. Chris Chan offered his medical prowess to The Disciples in the form of a physical prior to their upcoming Championship match at PSA: Issue 22. The Disciples came out, but they were in no mood to joke around with The Docs. Draco and Drov tried to obliterate their challengers, but Phase and Chan were able to escape the ring and avoid the attack.
Sheri Nichols had a fantastic debut when she beat Karen with ease. Even though this was Nichols’s first match in the PSA Women’s World Championship Tournament, she already looked like Championship material. If Nichols continues this momentum, there may be no one that can stand in her way.
The Terminator had the opportunity to bounce back from his loss last week in a match with Bruno Bolousek. The T-800 did everything he could to defeat Bolousek, including hitting 5 Choppas in rapid succession. Unfortunately for the cyborg, this was not enough to put down the Moscow Menace. Bolousek hit The Terminator with one Marauder to gain another win in PSA.
Before the Main Event, Cory Parcher revealed the Season 2 Battle Nexus Tournament bracket! There are several new faces that are getting the opportunity of a lifetime. The PSA Faithful will be happy to hear that the Tournament begins this Tuesday on After Hours!
The Main Event of the evening saw Geralt challenge Drew Pender in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the PSA Hardcore Championship. It was the most difficult challenge of Pender’s Championship Reign thus far. Even so, the Champion retained when he caught Geralt out of midair with a superkick on the outside of the ring. As Pender was celebrating, the lights went out and Corwin appeared behind him! Rather than brawl, the two men simply stared down one another. Corwin made his point clear: only one of them can be Champion.
AFTER HOURS: 01/25/22
In a Block A match in the PSA Women’s World Championship Tournament, “Vintage” Anne Griffin made her in-ring debut against Azura. Griffin was remarkable for her age, but Azura continued her winning streak by getting the pin following the Lost in Translation.
The crowd was surprised to see the return of Brian Goober, the assistant of Mr. Binglebottom that was humiliated by Benjamin last season. He has come out here to set the record straight: his name is Mr. Goober, and he has “never appeared” in a PSA ring before. He is here because he has seen the incredible talent PSA has to offer, but some of them have struggled to reach the peak of this industry. As such, he has offered his expertise to three wrestlers that he sees a lot of potential in, and he hopes to enlist more performers in the future. As he sees it, “The Enhancers” will change the wrestling industry forever.
The Enhancers, represented by Magic Kitty 2567 and The Virtuoso, faced The Coopers in tag team action. The Enhancers did better than most would expect, but Brad Cooper pinned Magic Kitty 2567 after the California Tears to earn a decisive victory for The Coopers.
Next, Bruno Bolousek clashed with Chad “The Tiger” Broski following their confrontation in the CKC ladder match at Plugged In. Broski got in some offense, but it was no use against a powerhouse like Bolousek. Broski got hit with the Marauder and was subsequently pinned, leading to Bolousek’s first win in PSA. After a jaw-dropping victory like that, it’s safe to say that there are more to come for the Moscow Menace.
The Main Event of After Hours was a 3 Way between DDTyson, Leaf Sinn, and El Chupapolla. All three impressed the crowd, with all of them seeming considerably better than they were in Season 1. Even so, only one man could win. This ended up being El Chupapolla, who pinned Leaf Sinn after he hit him with the Helicopter.
PLUGGED IN: 01/23/22
Season 2 of PSA kicked off with the fourth-ever Roster Rumble! 20 of the gaming industry’s most iconic characters duked it out in the ring. Although many participants were impressive, Geralt of Rivia emerged with the victory after entering at the 15th position.
The next match on Plugged In saw The Terminator face Undkban for the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship. The two competitors brought their A-Game, and it was hard to predict who would come out on top. That said, Undkban was able to keep the T-800 down long enough to retain his Title.
The first women’s match in PSA history occurred when Trina Cooper took on Azura in Block A of the PSA Women’s World Championship Tournament. It was very close, but Azura left with the victory using the Lost in Translation.
The Limitless Luchadores, The Docs, Jim Squared, and the team of Johnny Warren and Pletch squared off in a 4 Way to determine the #1 Contenders to the PSA Tag Team Championship. To put it simply, it was complete and utter chaos. Jim E ended up being pinned by Dr. Chris Chan following the Medical Malpractice, resulting in a victory for The Docs.
Block B of the PSA Women's World Championship Tournament started with Brittany vs Marcee. Both women did their best, but it was Marcee that walked out with the W.
Next on the card saw Ethan Vandiver, Andrew Frankowski, Bruno Bolousek, Gobloid, Jeff “The Ref” Jonsun, Bordt, Chad “The Tiger” Broski, and Leonard “The Gobstopper” Lopez compete for the Championship Kontest Contract. In a move that shocked many, Jeff “The Ref” Jonsun managed to climb the ladder and become the CKC Holder!
Josh Grabowski finally got his hands on Corwin and his World Championship in the Main Event of the evening. It was a battle in the ring, and Grabowksi impressed many in the biggest match of his career. However, this was not enough to capture the PSA World Championship. Corwin locked in The Indoctrinator, the same move that defeated Johnny Warren, and Grabowski had no choice but to pass out due to the pain. Corwin’s reign of terror continues… for now.
