SEASON 9 RESULTS
GROUND ZERO NIGHT TWO: 08/01/24
Night Two of Ground Zero began with a grudge match between Drew Pender and Undkban. “The Pharaoh” was ready to punish “The God of PSA” for his insolence in recent weeks, but that was not who he faced this evening. Instead, Pender was now known as “The Shepherd of Fire,” and he took the entirety of his anger out on Undkban. After hitting 7 Spears in a row, Pender showed mercy by pinning Undkban to win the match.
After costing Cruella Castonova the PSA Women’s World Championship last week, Yuri Blade faced her foe in an Ambulance Match. Castonova was out for blood in this contest, beating Blade with weapons and even throwing her off of the ambulance! In the end, Castonova threw Yuri Blade in the vehicle and locked the doors to get vengeance.
Olympus and Council of M squared off in trios action next. Olympus has not been a unit for over a year, but they were just as unified as ever. Council of M tried to cheat their way to a victory, but Griffin hit Macho Mars with the Talon to win the match for the returning Olympus.
The heated rivalry between Shawn Westin, Chris Andres, and Anthony Justice came to a head. After being tormented for weeks, Justice finally got some redemption when he pinned Andres after Westin, who hit Andres with the Breakaway, was thrown out of the ring.
The PSA Tag Team Championship was defended by The Beautiful Boys when they took on The Disciples. The challengers divided and conquered by attacking both men individually, and the Champions fought them off for as long as they could. It was not long enough, however, as Draco pinned Cameron Curtis following Bring the Afterlife to start a second reign of terror for The Disciples as the PSA Tag Team Champions!
The feud between Swashbucklin’ Sheri and Brittany Blake reached its boiling point in a Street Fight for the Roster Roulette Championship. Sheri has gotten the upper hand for weeks, but Blake wasn’t going to go down without a fight. Right as Blake looked to retain the Gold, Trina Cooper returned and hit the Champion with the Devastator! After leaving the ring, Sheri climbed to the top rope and hit the Cannonball to win the match and leave Ground Zero as Roster Roulette Champion!
It was time for Keith to get the biggest opportunity of his career in the Main Event of Ground Zero. He had an uphill battle if he wanted to defeat Corwin and become the PSA World Champion, but he was going to do everything in his power to do so. Corwin thought he would make quick work of his challenger, but nothing, including 2 Power Word Kills, would keep Keith down. Right as “Mr. Lose Guy” was getting a second wind, Corwin’s frustration got the best of him, and he grabbed a steel chair at ringside and smashed Keith straight in the face! A disqualification in the Main Event of the biggest show of the year caused complete chaos. Several members of backstage personnel ran to the ring to calm Corwin down, but this only made him angrier. Tony Warren also came down to try and get some order, but Corwin attacked him too, bloodying him with a Power Word Kill and then incapacitating him with the Mortal Reminder. This assault brought out his son, Johnny Warren, who took the fight to Corwin without any hesitation! As PSA officials ripped the two men apart, Dru Parcher came out on stage and announced that due to Corwin’s heinous actions tonight, he will defend the PSA World Championship against Warren in an brand-new event that will kick off Season 10: Fallout!
GROUND ZERO NIGHT ONE: 07/25/24
Ground Zero kicked off with the 4 Way Elimination Match for the vacant Ultimate Hour Championship. The PSA Faithful were unsure of who to root for, but they knew they were in for an incredible matchup. In a show-stealing performance that included some underhanded tactics, P-Money eliminated Ben Richards, Brock Lee, and Leonard Lopez to become the new Ultimate Hour Champion!
As P-Money made his way backstage, he passed Samuel Binglebottom as he entered the arena for his Steel Cage match with Dean Cottonsmith. This match was intense, and Cottonsmith was a lot more capable than people thought he would be. However, his morals proved to be his downfall, as he refused to attack Binglebottom while he was defenseless. As Cottonsmith waited for his rival to get to his feet, S.O.B. blindsided him with a Low Blow! With this, Binglebottom hit the Bottom Feeder and secured another victory for Binglebottom Entourages.
Next was the biggest match in PSA history, El Gigante vs Skull Gigante! Both men knew that they would need to go to the extreme to win this contest, so both spent the entirety of the match trying to hit a Super Giantrana. Just when it looked like El Gigante was going to hit the move, he was caught by Skull Gigante, who Powerbombed him into the mat and pinned him to emerge victorious.
Binglebottom Entourages defended the PSA Trios Championship against The Coopers. The ongoing tension between Goldielox and his teammates made a key impact in the match, and the challengers took advantage of it any chance they got. In the end, Mark Cooper Jr. hit Goldielox with California Dreamin’ while the rest of the match’s participants were busy with an intense brawl to crown new PSA Trios Champions!
Casual Adam valiantly returned to take on Bruno Bolousek, but this did not last very long. To put it simply, Bolousek systematically dismantled his opponent in one of the most one-sided matches we’ve ever seen. When “The Blood Hunter” was done playing with his prey, Bolousek submitted Adam with The Mark of the Allmother to easily win his return match.
The Mad Lads and Gorilla Warfare finally squared off in tag team action. The history between these four men was evident from the start, as neither team could gain an upper hand. However, one time eventually stood above the other. This ended up being Gorilla Warfare, as Grabowski and Warren hit a Super GMD on Pletch to keep their undefeated streak alive.
Heather N. Marcus looked to reclaim the PSA Women’s World Championship from a woman she has a storied rivalry with: Hayley. The two have never seen eye-to-eye, but here they faced off on the biggest stage imaginable. There were concerns that Hayley was unfocused due to Drew Pender’s actions in recent weeks, but she quickly proved to the PSA Faithful that this wouldn’t be an issue. Even so, HNM hit back-to-back Beauty Marks to recapture the PSA Women’s World Championship!
As Marcus stood to her feet, she was shocked to see Cruella Castonova run down the ramp and stake her claim to a Title match right now! As the match began, Castonova looked like she was all but guaranteed to win the Championship. However, Yuri Blade ran down and caused a huge distraction! This allowed Marcus to hit a Beauty Mark, climb up to the top rope, and hit a Super Beauty Mark on Castonova to seal the victory in the Main Event of Ground Zero Night One.
ULTIMATE HOUR SUMMER SERIES: 07/18/24
Keith ran down to the ring as the show began, ready to knock another one of Corwin’s challenges out of the park. Instead, however, he was greeted by “The Devil’s Chosen One” himself. Corwin told the #1 Contender that he expected him to fail in his matches against TYSON and Voltand, but he’s been pleasantly surprised by his performance. He originally had another trial planned for tonight, but he’s decided to give “Mr. Lose Guy” the night off. He shook Keith’s hand, warning him that he’s going to need this rest if he wants to survive at Ground Zero.
The first match of the evening was one that has been highly anticipated for weeks: Brock Lee vs P-Money. These two have been at odds ever since they were announced as members of the 4 Way Elimination Match for the vacant Ultimate Hour Championship, and tonight was the night they finally squared off. Money attempted to use his brass knuckles against Lee, but he hit him with the Health Kick, punching himself in the process! As Lee celebrated his victory, P-Money stormed out and promised that come Ground Zero, he’ll be the one laughing.
Olympus came out on stage to give a final warning to Council of M. At Ground Zero, they will prove that they are the greatest trio in PSA history when they decimate Marcee and her copycats and cement themselves at the top of the women’s division.
As The Disciples made their way to the ring for Draco’s match with Richard Hale, Undkban commented on Drew Pender’s attack last week. He warned Drew that there will be severe punishment for his disrespect, and it will be dished out at Ground Zero.
In the contest between Richard Hale and Draco, “The Dragon” used his overwhelming strength to his advantage, lifting up Hale for the win with the Devotion. Will The Disciples do this again when they challenge for the PSA Tag Team Championship at Ground Zero, or will The Beautiful Boys develop a strategy to remain Champions?
Everyone tuned in to hear what Skull Gigante had to say. He kept his comments brief, but he did tell the PSA Faithful that when he leaves Ground Zero victorious, he will be the only wrestler in the company worthy of being known as a giant.
Cruella Castonova and Swashbucklin’ Sheri teamed up against Yuri Blade and Brittany Blake next. Blake and Blade struggled as a team, particularly because any time Brittany would tag in Yuri, she would tag back out to avoid getting beat down by Sheri or Castonova. This tension between the two escalated, to the point where Yuri Blade stormed out of the match; this gave Sheri the opportunity to hit the Cannonball on Blake and pin the Roster Roulette once again! Can she do it for a third time at Ground Zero and become a Champion?
As Castonova and Sheri celebrated their win, an all-out brawl between Shawn Westin, Anthony Justice, and Chris Andres spilled out into the arena! Dru Parcher came out on stage, saying it’s clear that all three men have a lot of hate for one another. In his eyes, there’s only one thing that will solve it: a 3 Way Match at Ground Zero! As PSA personnel pulled them apart, it was clear that they were eager to reignite this brawl as soon as possible.
Hayley and Heather N. Marcus held a contract signing for their PSA Women’s World Championship bout at Ground Zero. As HNM agreed to the match, she asked Hayley how she feels about losing her God and her Title within a month of one other? Hayley scoffed at this comment, telling Marcus that her Championship is not going anywhere, but she didn’t appear to be entirely focused on the current situation. She tried to take a cheap shot at her challenger, but Heather saw it coming and turned it into a Beauty Mark. As Hayley laid on the ground, HNM warned her to hold the Title closely over the next week; it’ll be the last time she gets to do so.
PSA Flashback- The relationships between Johnny Warren, Josh Grabowski, Andrew Frankenstein, and Pletch have drastically changed since the early stages of PSA. In Season 1, Pletch and Warren had a rocky start to their relationship, but this grew into a true friendship that saw them defeat The Disciples at Finest Hour 2022 to become the PSA Tag Team Champions. Right as The War Hogs became Champions, the world was introduced to The Owskis. Josh Grabowski propelled himself and Andrew Frankowski to superstardom by capturing the CKC, which they used to join The War Hogs and The Coopers in a 3 Way Heck in a Seck Tag Team Championship match. In this contest, it was The Owksis who came out on top, where they soon entered a fierce rivalry with Dummy Wide for the following 6 months. As for Johnny Warren, he went on to become PSA World Champion, defeating Undkban at Ground Zero 2022. Pletch felt lonely and betrayed by Warren, and he eventually snapped. At Extreme Hour 2023, Pletch turned on Warren, joining the likes of Drew Pender and Corwin in the first-ever Pit of Glory match against Johnny Warren and his newly-found friends, The Owksis. The Owksis didn’t last much longer as a partnership, as Andrew Frankowski’s horrific head injury at the hands of Corwin turned him into the cold and calculated Andrew Frankenstein, who cost Josh Grabowski the PSA World Championship at Ground Zero 2023. Despite all of the betrayal, a friendship between Johnny Warren and Josh Grabowski remained, which prompted them to form Gorilla Warfare. The Mad Lads, on the other hand, was created out of desperation, as Frankenstein needed a henchman and couldn’t think of anyone better than “The Pig.” As these four men collide once again at Ground Zero, albeit under new circumstances, we will see which partnership reigns supreme!
Dean Cottonsmith faced his long-time friend and tag team partner, Lochlan, to Main Event the final Ultimate Hour before Ground Zero. The match started out one-sided, as Lochlan easily decimated Cottonsmith. As time went on, however, Lochlan appeared to have some sympathy for his opponent; does he regret which side he’s aligned himself with? Before we could get an answer, however, Goldielox came down to the ring to seemingly turn the odds in favor of Binglebottom Entourages. He readied himself for the Goldiestomp while the referee was knocked down, but Dean moved out of the way at the last second and he hit Lochlan instead! With a newfound energy surge, Cottonsmith hit the stunned Lochlan with the Slapshot and won the match. With this, he will face Samuel Binglebottom at Ground Zero. Not only that, but Cottonsmith announced that he wants to face him inside a Steel Cage Match! As the show came to a close, Lochlan shoved Goldielox away and stormed out of the arena, making it clear that the cracks in Binglebottom Entourages are continuing to grow.
ULTIMATE HOUR SUMMER SERIES: 07/11/24
After PSA’s medical personnel confirmed that Louie Hamstring and Pimbleton will likely never wrestle again due to Drew Pender’s massacre last week, Pender once again opened the show to explain his actions. He incoherently rambled to the PSA Faithful, telling them over and over that “Society of the Spear is up in flames. From the ashes, something new will be born.” This sad display brought out Undkban, who invited Drew to join him as his new Disciple. Something about this cleared Pender’s mind, who attacked “The Pharaoh!” After Drew threw his opponents into the stairs. He told him that he’s not crazy, and that everything will be clear when he faces Undkban in a match at Ground Zero.
Ben Richards and Leonard Lopez faced off prior to the 4 Way Elimination Match for the vacant Ultimate Hour Championship. Both men brought their A-Game, but Richards hit the Bloodshed to get the pinfall victory. After the match, they helped each other up and shook hands, but they were blindsided when Voltand ran into the ring and hit the Frostbite on both men at the same time! Keith and Gorilla Warfare ran down to teach him a lesson, but he had already escaped before they could do anything. Luckily, Keith will have an opportunity for vengeance when he faces Voltand one-on-one in tonight’s Main Event!
As Marcee, accompanied by Council of M, made her way to ring for a match against Anne Griffin, she warned her that she’s going to pay for interfering in the #1 Contendership match last week. With no one to help her, Griffin will soon learn that it was the biggest mistake of her life.
Anne Griffin knew she was at a huge disadvantage walking into her match with Marcee, but she didn’t seem as concerned as one would expect. Council of M did help their leader get the victory, but right as they were about to beat down Griffin, the lights went out. When they came back on, they were shocked to see the likes of Maria Phoenix and Grace Adonis standing in the ring. As Council of M retreated up the ramp, it appeared their biggest fears had come true: Olympus is back!
We caught up with The Coopers, who reflected on their upcoming PSA Trios match at Ground Zero. Mark Cooper took the lead, telling the PSA Faithful that they are confident the infighting in Binglebottom Entourages will be their downfall. As for their family, they’re going to stay home and train, and this mental focus will help them leave Ground Zero as Champions.
Following his return last week, Dean Cottonsmith came down to the ring and challenged Samuel Binglebottom to a match at Ground Zero. S.O.B. did come down to the ring, but all he did was laugh in his former associate’s face. He told Cottonsmith that he’s not deserving of a match with him at the biggest show of the year, but he’ll give him a proposition: if he can defeat an opponent of Binglebottom’s choosing next week, then the two will face at Ground Zero. Hell, he will even let Dean pick the stipulation for the match. Cottonsmith accepted without giving it a second thought, and Samuel revealed that his opponent will be his former tag team partner, Lochlan. Can Dean Cottonsmith do the impossible?
Cruella Castonova and Swashbucklin’ Sheri were found backstage, having formed a partnership after last week’s brawl. They both look to be victorious in their respective matches at Ground Zero, but first they challenged Brittany Blake and Yuri Blade to a tag team match next week. Will their opponents accept?
Shawn Westin faced P-Money in singles action next. P-Money tried to cheat his way to victory, but Westin was countering everything that was being thrown at him. In sheer frustration, Money tried to leave the match. However, he was stopped by Brock Lee and thrown back into the fight; this gave Westin the win after he hit the Breakaway. As Westin celebrated, he was attacked by Anthony Justice, who is out for revenge against those that have wronged him! However, Justice was shocked when Chris Andres appeared on screen again and told him he was lying about Westin being involved; he just wanted to see what lengths Justice would be willing to go to! Justice seemed apologetic for his ambush, but Westin wanted nothing to do with the man that he once called friend.
El Gigante reflected on his upcoming fight against his clone, Skull Gigante. He told the PSA Faithful that his dark side has always been difficult to overcome, but he never thought it would escalate to this level. Now that he has an opportunity to vanquish this alter ego for good, however, he’s going to do everything in his power to make that happen.
Before the Main Event, Hayley was interviewed about her upcoming Title Defense against Heather N. Marcus. When asked if Drew Pender’s crisis will affect her focus heading into Ground Zero, the Champion assured everyone that this is not a concern, though she did seem a bit worried herself. Nevertheless, “The Goddess of PSA” assured her subjects that they have nothing to worry about; Hayley as the PSA Women’s World Champion is here to stay.
Keith finally got his hands on Voltand to end the show with a bang. Corwin’s strongest follower presented a challenge for “Mr. Lose Guy,” but Keith’s resilience can never be underestimated. After jumping over a Frostbite that sent Voltand into the corner, Keith powered up his opponent into the Shock and Awe and slammed him down to emerge victorious.
ULTIMATE HOUR CAPITAL SLAUGHTER: 07/04/24
Drew Pender returned to PSA by opening the Capital Slaughter edition of Ultimate Hour. The PSA Faithful were surprised to see him in a shirt and jeans, as Pender hasn’t been seen in anything other than extravagant clothing since he has been known as “The God of PSA.” It looked like he was going to speak, but he couldn’t quite find the words to describe how he felt. Before he could start, he was surprised to see Louie Hamstring and Pimbleton come down to the ring. His loyal subjects told Pender that they understood he was upset at Tidal Wave, and they forgave him wholeheartedly for his attack. Hamstring promises that with their newfound strength, Society of the Spear will reach the top of PSA once again. This comment angered Pender, who began to brutalize his followers across the arena! After putting Hamstring through the announce table and bashing Pimbleton in the head countless times with a steel chair, it was clear that Society of the Spear was over.
The first of Keith’s trials was up next, as he stepped in the ring with TYSON. “Mr. Lose Guy” had a lot to prove in this match, but he did so in spades. After hitting TYSON with the Shock and Awe, Keith hit a Blue Sky Splash to get the win.
Cameron Curtis was clearly hurting from The Disciples' ambush last week, but he couldn’t help but be excited to show Richard Hale the outfit he picked out for them at Ground Zero. They didn’t spoil anything, but they promised that they will be dressed like Champions at the biggest show of the year.
Next, Gorilla Warfare came out and challenged The Mad Lads to a match right now! Andrew Frankenstein and Pletch appeared on the ramp, refusing to face them on such short notice. However, Frankenstein did agree to face them at Ground Zero, where he looks to eradicate Johnny Warren and Josh Grabowski from PSA permanently! In addition, Skull Gigante will put an end to El Gigante and prove that he is superior in every way. If GW still wants to wrestle tonight, however, there is another team that has some unfinished business with Johnny Warren…
Champions of the Sea walked down to the ring, who are here to send a message to Gorilla Warfare! The match was made official, and Warren took the fight directly to Spack Jarrow. After an intense contest, Jarrow was hit with the GMD and pinned by Warren, securing another win for the undefeated Gorilla Warfare.
As Warren and Grabowski celebrated, they passed the Roster Roulette Champion, Brittany Blake! She came down to the ring and owned the fact that she lost at Tidal Wave, so she was more than willing to give Sheri a rematch at Ground Zero. This brought out Yuri Blade, who told Blake that she had no reason to give a match to someone as “undeserving” as Swashbucklin’ Sheri. Sheri and Castonova both ran down to the ring, determined to get their hands on Yuri Blade. However, Blake also got involved, resulting in a 4 way brawl that had to be broken up by PSA personnel.
Backstage, Samuel Binglebottom was once again found arguing with Goldielox. S.O.B. reprimanded him for leaving last week, and now he has to make it up to Binglebottom Entourages by facing Brad Cooper next. To everyone’s surprise, however, Goldielox snapped back, telling Binglebottom that he’s tired of being treated like a slave to someone that he doesn’t respect. With Goldielox leaving the building, Samuel had no choice but to step in the ring himself against “The Butcher.”
In the match between Samuel Binglebottom and Brad Cooper, both men had a lot riding on this match: If Cooper won, he and his family would receive a PSA Trios Championship match at Ground Zero! However, this motivated S.O.B. to use every cheap move at his disposal to prevent this from happening. At one point, the referee was down and Binglebottom successfully low-blowed his opponent, having the match won. However, he was shocked to turn to the stage and find that a ghost from his past, Dean Cottonsmith, had returned! He ran into the ring and hit his enemy with the Slapshot, pulled Cooper over the body of Binglebottom, and watched from ringside as the referee awoke and counted “1. 2. 3.”
Ben Richards came down to the ring next to speak about the Ultimate Hour Championship match at Ground Zero. He told the PSA Faithful that he has always dreamed of being Ultimate Hour Champion, and this opportunity will not be one he’ll waste. To his surprise, Leonard Lopez also walked down to the ring to speak about Ground Zero. He said that he meant no disrespect by this interruption, but he’s not the only one that’s dreamed of being a singles Champion since the day they stepped foot in PSA. Lopez is as close as ever to accomplishing this goal, and he’s not going to let anyone get in his way. Richards said that he didn’t want to wait until Ground Zero to wrestle again, so he challenged Lopez to a match next week. Lopez warned him that he won the last time they faced off, but the challenge was accepted.
In the Main Event, Marcee faced Heather N. Marcus in a PSA Women’s World Championship #1 Contendership match. HNM gained the upper hand, which prompted Marcee to call down Council of M and turn the tides in her favor. Shockingly, however, they did not appear. Upon investigation by PSA’s camera crew, Anne Griffin was found beating them down in the parking lot as revenge for their attack a couple of weeks ago! Marcee was enraged, but this helped Marcus hit the Beauty Mark and punch her ticket to Ground Zero.
ULTIMATE HOUR SUMMER SERIES: 06/27/24
We kicked off Ultimate Hour with Keith, who is officially the #1 Contender to the PSA World Championship! It didn’t take long for The Hallowed Divine to join him in the ring, with Corwin congratulating Keith on earning this shot. However, he told him that now is when the real trials truly begin. In an instant, TYSON and Voltand laid out the Challenger, making it clear that Corwin is not a man to be trifled with.
Anthony Justice needed to blow off some steam following his loss of the Debt Collector at Tidal Wave, so here he stepped in the ring with Cameron Curtis. Justice was clearly unfocused in this contest, and this allowed Curtis to hit the Chain Breaker and walk out with the win! As Justice stood alone in the ring, Chris Andres came out on stage and revealed that he, along with Shawn Westin, are the ones who sent the messages to Dru Parcher! Justice, in pure anger, stormed out of the arena and took out anyone that stood in his way.
As Curtis celebrated his win over Anthony Justice backstage, he was attacked by The Disciples! Following their victory over The Beautiful Boys in trios action, they have made it clear that they want the Tag Team Champions at the biggest show of the year, Ground Zero.
Next, the PSA Faithful welcomed back El Gigante! He told the crowd that he was back with a vengeance, and it starts with a match against Skull Gigante. Andrew Frankenstein came out and refused to allow Gigante to face his greatest creation, but he did say that he is free to test his might against “The Pig,” Pletch, later tonight.
The Women’s Debt Collector, Cruella Castonova, stepped in the ring with Flozelle. After securing a quick win with the Cruel and Unusual Punishment, she was asked if she had any plans of collecting her Title match any time soon. Before she could answer, however, she was blindsided by Yuri Blade! Blade said that she has already beaten Castonova once in a mixed tag team match, and now it’s time to embarrass her one-on-one. Before she could continue, however, Blade was interrupted by Swashbucklin’ Sheri. She said that if anyone deserves to embarrass another person, it’s her. She decisively beat Brittany Blake at Tidal Wave, and now it is time to capture the Roster Roulette Championship at Ground Zero. Blade was visibly annoyed that Sheri felt the need to get involved in this conflict, but she ran away before the two could brawl.
Bruno Bolousek, who was found in the rafters backstage, spoke about his attack on Casual Adam last week. He told the PSA Faithful that he didn’t do it because he wanted to; he did it because he needed to. Adam’s disrespect to the culture of the Bolousek Clan had gone on for long enough, and the Allmother demanded that he, now dubbed “The Blood Hunter,” takes care of it. Bolousek must now return to Russia, where he will complete his Trials and earn his Mark to signify the completion of his training. When he returns at Ground Zero, however, he hopes Casual Adam is long gone. If Adam decides to show his face, he promises that the pain he felt at Tidal Wave will be insignificant compared to the merciless punishment that Adam will soon endure.
The Coopers came down to the ring and made one thing clear: they want to be the next PSA Trios Champions. This brought out Binglebottom Entourages, led by S.O.B. himself. Samuel told them that he will grant this request for Ground Zero, but only if one of them could beat Goldielox in the ring right now. Brad Cooper stepped up to the challenge, but Goldielox had enough of being Binglebottom’s errand boy and walked out. Shocked at this action, S.O.B. called off the match and rescheduled it for next week. This angered Mark Cooper Jr., who demanded that he get a match with someone right now!
As MCII stood in the ring waiting for an opponent, he was answered by Brock Lee! Both men were very impressive in this match, but Cooper secured the victory with California Dreamin’ after P-Money cost Lee the match by grabbing his leg before he could hit the Health Kick.
The PSA Faithful were once again in the presence of “The Goddess of PSA,” Hayley. She wasn’t here to comment on what is going on between Drew and the rest of Society of the Spear, but she did gloat about how she has beaten everyone that has opposed her. At this point, who else is there to take her down? This comment brought out the returning Heather N. Marcus! HNM reminded Hayley that not only has she beaten “The Goddess” before, but she has done it three times compared to Hayley’s zero. Marcus made that Title what it is, and she wants it back at Ground Zero. Before the match could be made official, Marcee interrupted and noted that HNM has never beaten her, and that although she’s never faced Hayley one-on-one, she has no doubt that she’d defeat her. The two women argued, but Dru Parcher came out and announced that Marcus and Marcee will face off next week in a #1 Contendership match!
The Main Event saw El Gigante get his match against Pletch. “The Pig” was stronger than ever thanks to Andrew Frankenstein’s aid, but Gigante’s agility helped him win with the Giantrana. After the match, Frankenstein came into the ring to help Pletch, but this action brought out Gorilla Warfare’s Johnny Warren and Josh Grabowski! The four men brawled immediately, to the point where they fought all the way out of the arena. With only Skull Gigante and El Gigante left in the ring, the two men had a tense staredown as the show came to a close.
TIDAL WAVE: 06/20/24
Tidal Wave kicked off with a tag team match between The K+L Qlub and The Hallowed Divine. This match had huge implications: if The K+ L Qlub won, then Keith would be the one to face Corwin at Ground Zero for the PSA World Championship! In a very intense contest, Lopez pinned Voltand following the Bestie Bomb to win the match. With this, Keith is officially the #1 Contender to the World Title!
Next, Casual Adam squared off in the ring with Chris Andres. After Andres pushed Adam into the referee, he hit him with a Low Blow and the Flame On to win the match. As he left the arena celebrating, Adam was left in the ring alone. At this moment, the screen shut off and new music began playing; it was the return of Bruno Bolousek! He ran to the ring, hit Adam with a move dubbed the Crimson Infliction, and locked him in the Mark of the Allmother until Adam was out cold.
Brittany Blake and Johnny Warren teamed up for the first time against Sheri and Spack. Warren couldn’t wait to get into the match, so he spent the majority of it brawling with Jarrow at ringside. During one of these scuffles, Sheri hit the Cannonball on Blake to shock everyone and win the match!
The Debt Collector was on the line in a Ladder Match between Andrew Frankenstein and Anthony Justice. After throwing Justice off the top of the ladder onto the ring mat, Frankenstein retrieved the briefcase and is now the 2024 Men’s Debt Collector!
Society of the Spear reunited when they challenged Binglebottom Entourages for the PSA Trios Championship. The Champions were just one step ahead, as Goldielox pinned Pimbleton to retain the Gold. After the match, Drew Pender shocked everyone when he beat down Pimbleton and Louie Hamstring in a fit of rage! No one knows what’s next for Pender, but it appears that he wants a fresh start after two back-to-back losses.
Josh Grabowski and Pletch duked it out once again, only this time it was inside a Beach Brawl! After a brutal and bloody fight, Pletch wrapped his arm in barbed wire and hit a Diving Pork Chop on Grabowski to get the pinfall victory. Immediately after celebrating, Pletch collapsed to the ground from exhaustion. This brought out Andrew Frankenstein, who was worried about his underling’s well-being. Worried that his partner might be at risk, Johnny Warren also ran down to the ring. This caused a scuffle between Frankenstein and Warren, and it appears that the rivalry between these two teams is far from over.
Before the Main Event, Dru Parcher came out to announce who will compete for the vacant Ultimate Hour Championship at Ground Zero. The first contender to be revealed was Ben Richards, who has been on Ultimate Hour since the very first episode and deserves a huge opportunity like this due to his recent winning streak. Next was Leonard Lopez; since he helped his friend earn a match for the World Title, Parcher thought it was appropriate to reward him with a match for this Title. Finally, he couldn’t deny the star power of P-Money, and this will be the big break he has been waiting for. The PSA Faithful were happy these men were included in the match, but there was one more person that received a huge outcry of support: Brock Lee. The fans cheered his name louder than ever before, and this convinced Parcher to officially name Lee as the last member of the Ultimate Hour Championship match at Ground Zero!
La Biblioteca Main Evented Tidal Wave against a familiar foe, Hayley, for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Both women were very familiar with one another, and this made it difficult for either one to gain an advantage in this match. Hayley eventually did, however, retaining her Title with the Spear. Despite her loss, La Biblioteca put up an incredible effort, and nothing should be taken away from her with this defeat.
ULTIMATE HOUR SUMMER SERIES: 06/13/24
Ultimate Hour opened with the trios match between The Disciples and the team of The Beautiful Boys and Casual Adam. Undkban led his team to victory, as he hit Adam with the Sands of Time to secure the pinfall. After the match, Chris Andres ran down to the ring and beat down Adam, clearly taking their interaction last week personally. The Disciples used this as an opportunity to attack The Beautiful Boys, with Draco and Drov likely serving as the next team to challenge for the PSA Tag Team Championship.
Shawn Westin was walking backstage when he was confronted by Anthony Justice. He wanted to know if he is involved with the secret message, as he is tired of everyone else being jealous of his Debt Collector win. Westin swore that he had nothing to do with the situation, but he is upset that Justice would even think he would do something like that. Justice tried to elaborate further, but Westin walked away before he could speak.
Warren, still recovering from his brutal match against Dave last week, met with Brittany Blake in the ring for an interview along with Sheri and Spack. Sheri was asked what makes her and Jarrow’s relationship better than Blake and Warren’s, and she responded that their partnership is based on the mutual love of treasure, Championships, and money, which are all real things that make the world go round. Blake was asked the same question, and she noted that she and Warren have a love for each other, which is a lot better than the material possessions that Sheri and Spack care about. This offended Spack Jarrow, who grabbed his Captain and stormed out of the arena. As they left, Warren told them that they’re going to prove they’re the better couple when they beat the two to a pulp at Tidal Wave.
Anne Griffin made her return to PSA when she stepped in the ring with Macho Mars! Despite not appearing since Season 7, she was just as talented as ever, which earned her some cheers from the PSA Faithful. Even so, Mars used the numbers advantage at ringside to ruin her opponent's return and win the match. Afterwards, Mars and her Council of M teammates attacked Griffin and celebrated in the ring.
Josh Grabowski appeared backstage to speak on Pletch’s attack from two weeks ago. He said that he always knew his beef with Pletch wasn’t over yet, but he didn’t think that it would reignite so soon. Now that it has, though, Grabowski promised to destroy “The Pig” at Tidal Wave. Before walking away, he added that if sees Pletch at all tonight, he won’t hesitate to give him a sneak peek of what’s waiting for him next week.
As Josh Grabowski made his way to the locker room, Hayley spoke about her PSA Women’s World Championship defense at Tidal Wave. She noted that she has a storied history with La Biblioteca, and this gives her the insight needed to walk out on top. As she bragged about her status as the Champion, she was interrupted by Cruella Castonova. The Women’s Debt Collector wished Hayley luck at Tidal Wave, but warned her that her luck could vanish as fast as “1. 2. 3.”
The Braxton Brothers looked to prove themselves in a rematch against JX2. Alex and Josiah have grown exponentially since their debut match in PSA, but it was not enough to defeat their opponents, with James Jindrak pinning Alex following the Critical Mass. After the match, The Braxtons wanted to shake the hands of JX2, but Jim Everetts refused and called them unworthy of respect. The Braxton Brothers' confusion turned to anger, and the pair left the ring embarrassed.
Samuel Binglebottom was found arguing with Goldielox, but it was unclear what their discussion was about. As the camera approached, however, S.O.B. put on a facade, claiming that things have never been better in Binglebottom Entourages! In fact, when they retain their PSA Trios Championship at Tidal Wave against Society of the Spear, their stock will rise even higher. As Binglebottom yelled at the camera to get away so he could continue his private discussion with Goldielox, he turned around to learn that he was already gone.
Before the Main Event, The PSA Faithful were introduced to the new and improved Ultimate Hour Championship! With the contenders of the Title set to be revealed at Tidal Wave, who will be the next to hold the gold?
The Main Event saw Keith face the monstorous Skull Gigante in his debut match. Flanked by The Mad Lads of Andrew Frankenstein and Pletch, Keith had an uphill battle throughout this contest. However, there were several people that helped him out. The first was Josh Grabowski, who took the fight to Pletch almost immediately. Next was Anthony Justice, who snuck up behind Frankenstein and attacked him before their Debt Collector Ladder Match at Tidal Wave. The Hallowed Divine also tried to get involved, but Leonard Lopez ran them off while holding a steel chair. With all ringside interference taken care of, the match reached its final moments. Skull Gigante was ready to hit Keith with the Skullrana, but he was distracted when El Gigante, who hasn't been seen since Finest Hour, made his grand return! This helped Keith topple his opponent, hit the Shock and Awe, and emerge victorious!
ULTIMATE HOUR SUMMER SERIES: 06/06/24
Ultimate Hour opened with the return of the former PSA World Champion, Drew Pender. To the PSA Faithful’s surprise, he was flanked by his loyal subjects, Louie Hamstring and Pimbleton! Pender was clearly distraught without the World Title, but he tried to hide this while touting that the greatest alliance in PSA history, Society of the Spear, is back in full force. Not only that, but they are going to do something they should’ve done a long time ago: become PSA Trios Champions. How will Binglebottom Entourages respond to this demand?
La Biblioteca will face Hayley at Tidal Wave for the PSA Women’s World Championship, but Marcee wanted to teach her a lesson before that fateful day. Council of M played a pivotal role in this match, as their constant distractions at ringside gave Marcee a huge advantage. Even so, Biblioteca managed to roll up her opponent to pick up the victory. As soon as the bell rang, however, Council of M beat down the #1 Contender, making it clear that all they ever cared about was inflicting punishment. As Bibloteca collapsed in the ring, Hayley walked down the ramp and raised her Title over her challenger.
Next, Dru Parcher addressed the future of the Ultimate Hour Championship. He admitted that this vacancy was unexpected, but it is also very exciting. This will mark a new era for the UH Title, as the next Champion, who will be crowned at Ground Zero, will be someone who has never held the Title before. As for who will take part in this match, Parcher announced that he will reveal the participants at PSA’s next Special Event, Tidal Wave.
As Parcher finished his announcement, he was bombarded by Anthony Justice. He demanded the return of the Debt Collector immediately, as who knows what Frankenstein could be doing with it. Parcher looked confused, telling Justice that he already received his message from earlier. Justice had no idea what he was talking about, so Dru explained that he was sent a message from Anthony Justice saying that he would defend the Debt Collector in a Ladder Match against Andrew Frankenstein at Tidal Wave, so he already made the match official. Parcher apologized to Justice for the error, but it’s too late for the match to be canceled. Justice stormed away, determined to find the one responsible for this message.
JX2 and The Fab Few both looked to bounce back from their losses at Carnival of Conquest. In the end, it was the “Gatekeepers of Tag Team Wrestling” that walked out on top, as Everetts pinned Robbins following the Critical Mass. Afterwards, the winners were confronted by The Braxton Brothers, who wanted to know why they were disrespected by JX2 a couple of weeks ago. Jindrak explained that the Braxtons are not worthy opponents because they’ve never beaten them. Alex Braxton told the pair that a lot has changed since their first matchup, and they’re going to step in the ring next week to prove it.
The Beautiful Boys spoke on the appearance of The Disciples last week. Curtis told them that if it’s a fight they want, then it’s a fight they’ll get. They challenged them to a trios match next week, and then they revealed their third man: Casual Adam! As the Tag Team Champions and Adam walked away, they passed Chris Andres. Andres asked Adam what made him think he was good enough to face Anthony Justice last week, but Adam ignored him. This frustrated Andres, who knocked over backstage equipment on his way towards the locker room. As he stormed off, Adam removed his headphones and asked what was going on before shrugging and walking away.
The camera panned up to show Corwin, who was watching over “his land” as the PSA World Champion. He warned Keith about his upcoming match with The Hallowed Divine at Tidal Wave, as getting what you want doesn’t always go the way you expect. He will not be at the event in person, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be keeping a close eye on “Mr. Lose Guy,” the Debt Collector, or anyone else that poses a threat to his rule.
The Women’s Debt Collector, Cruella Castonova, stepped in the ring with Silva Sista. Sista was accompanied by The Entourage, and there appeared to be a disagreement between Goldielox, The Great Rapsby, and P-Money. Goldielox felt bad about Dean Cottonsmith’s exile last week, but Rapsby and Money both agreed that he had it coming with how many times he failed the company. This bickering distracted Sista, giving Castonova the opportunity to hit the Cruel and Unusual Punishment and walk away with the win.
Andrew Frankenstein, holding the Debt Collector, noted that his master plan is coming along swimmingly. He wasn’t responsible for Justice’s message, but he was grateful for whoever made this whole situation easier. Frankenstein began to laugh maniacally, but he stopped when Keith entered the room. He told “The Mad Scientist” that he’s a smart guy, but he’s going to have to throw all his plans away when he becomes the next PSA World Champion. Frankenstein laughed, noting that the chances of this happening are so close to zero that the math isn’t even worth doing. If Keith wants to prove him wrong, however, then he can step in the ring with Skull Gigante next week. Keith accepted, telling Andrew that he was going to prove all the doubters wrong when he beats Skull Gigante, The Hallowed Divine, and Corwin to become PSA World Champion!
Following a confrontation with Spack Jarrow last week, Johnny Warren faced Dave in a Seven Seas Street Fight to Main Event tonight’s show. The two had a wicked, bloody battle, with Dave using his strength to overwhelm his opponent. However, Warren used his agility and striking abilities to weaken Dave. At the peak of the contest, Warren used whatever energy he had left to lift up Dave for the Last Stand, which sealed the victory for “Lifeblood.”
ULTIMATE HOUR SUMMER SERIES: 05/30/24
The NEW PSA World Champion, Corwin, kicked off Ultimate Hour! He told the PSA Faithful that with this win, he has cemented himself as the greatest Champion professional wrestling has ever seen; who else has been PSA World Champion and Ultimate Hour Champion at the same time? Speaking of the UH Title, Corwin decreed he will be vacating the Championship immediately to focus on his third reign as World Champion. As he celebrated in the ring, he was surprised to be interrupted by Keith! Corwin assumed he was out there to reclaim the UH Title, but Keith cut him off. Keith told him that as much as he loved his time as Ultimate Hour Champion, he’s actually here because he wants to be the next PSA World Champion. Corwin didn’t quite know how to respond to “Mr. Lose Guy,” but he eventually agreed to give him a match under one condition: if he and Leonard Lopez defeat TYSON and Voltand at Tidal Wave, then he will receive a future PSA World Championship match.
Following their Title defense at Carnival of Conquest, The Beautiful Boys stepped in the ring against The High Five’s Dennis Dennison and Gilgadar. Both teams were banged up from last week’s event, but Hale and Curtis found a second wind and won the match by hitting Dennison with the Element of Surprise. Following the match, The Disciples appeared on stage, making it clear that they want the Tag Team Championship! How will the Champions respond?
Backstage, Chris Andres once again approached Anthony Justice and demanded a match. Justice declined, but both men were interrupted by a passing Casual Adam. Adam was curious if either man wanted to wrestle tonight, and Andres yelled at him to get lost. Justice, however, accepted, saying that it was nice to be asked for once instead of being told what to do by a “nobody.” As the two men left to prepare for their match later tonight, Andres furiously stormed out of the building.
Josh Grabowski, following his victory alongside Johnny Warren at Carnival of Conquest, got back to singles action against Brock Lee. Lee continues to become a fan favorite amongst the PSA Faithful, but it was Grabowski who walked out on top with the 10KG. As soon as the match ended, however, Grabowski was attacked by a ghost from his past, Pletch! It appears that the animosity between these two men is far from over.
As Pletch made his way up the ramp, he was greeted by his fellow Mad Lads, Andrew Frankenstein and Skull Gigante! Frankenstein told the PSA Faithful that this attack on Grabowski kicks off the next phase of his plan, and that he can’t wait to show them more when the time is right. As the trio celebrated, they were run off by Grabowski’s partner, Johnny Warren, who chased the group with a kendo stick!
As promised, Binglebottom Entourages held an investor’s report for their loyal supporters. Samuel Binglebottom began by applauding Goldielox, Lochlan, and The Great Rapsby for their incredible performance at Carnival of Conquest, as he “never had any doubt” that they would remain PSA Trios Champions. As for P-Money, S.O.B. told him that with the Ultimate Hour Championship recently vacant, he would put in a good word for him with Dru Parcher. Silva Sista and Brian Gobert continue to be reliable supporters to the success of Binglebottom Entourages, and this will help S.O.B. take the group to the next level when he finally captures the PSA World Championship. Before the meeting ended, however, there was one man that needed to be addressed: Dean Cottonsmith. Binglebottom told his friend that he wanted to thank him for all his help over the years, so he had a huge surprise; he finally bought Dean his own professional hockey team! Cottonsmith was shocked, as this has been his dream for as long as the two have known each other. Cottonsmith was so incredibly thankful, but he had to decline. He admittedly hated wrestling at first, but he has grown to love it. In fact, he’s been taking lessons from Goldielox in secret to surprise Samuel and make the company even better! Binglebottom smiled and raised Cottonsmith’s hand, but he shocked everyone when he hit him with the Bottom Feeder! The rest of Binglebottom Entourages proceeded to beat down Cottonsmith with the exception of Goldielox, who didn’t know what to do. As medical personnel escorted Cottonsmith of the arena, the superalliance were relentlessly booed by the PSA Faithful.
Before the next match, PSA personnel caught up with Johnny Warren, who was still looking for The Mad Lads. He said that he’s pretty sure they left the building, but he’s sick and tired of people hurting the people that he cares about. If one more person gets on his nerves tonight, he promises that there will be hell to pay.
Anthony Justice and Casual Adam faced off in singles action next. Justice appeared to think that this would be an easy matchup, but Adam proved that he is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. As the match went on, Justice knocked Adam to the ground. He climbed up to the top rope to hit a brutal elbow drop, but he was stunned to see Andrew Frankenstein crawl out from under the ring, snatch the Debt Collector, and run off with it! Justice tried to go after him, but Adam hit him with the Shrug to pick up the win.
As Anthony Justice awoke and ran after Andrew Frankenstein, he passed Brittany Blake, who made her way to the ring to discuss her Title Defense at Carnival of Conquest. Before she could even say anything, however, she was interrupted by Sheri and Spack. Sheri told Blake that she might have won the match, but it doesn’t even count since she was wearing a blindfold! Sheri wants a rematch, and she’s going to get it no matter what. Before Blake could respond, Spack Jarrow began telling her how she will never compare to Sheri, and that there is no man that will ever love her as much as he loves his Captain. This comment brought out Brittany Blake’s boyfriend, Johnny Warren! Just like he promised earlier, he wasted no time in taking the fight to Jarrow, with Blake and Sheri duking it out as well. PSA Officials managed to pull the couples apart, but Dru Parcher announced that Blake and Warren will team up at Tidal Wave in a blockbuster mixed tag team match against Sheri and Spack!
Before the Main Event, Leonard Lopez caught up with Keith after his confrontation with Corwin earlier in the night. Lopez asked if he was sure about having another match against “The Devil’s Chosen One,” especially after how easily Corwin dismantled him in the ring last time. Keith admitted that his Ultimate Hour Championship reign didn’t end the way he had hoped, but a lot has changed in the past year; he has a winning record, he won more Championships, and most importantly of all, he made a friend along the way. Lopez said that if Keith is positive that he wants to go through with this, then he will do everything in his power to support him. With this, The K+L Qlub are a united front on their path to Tidal Wave!
Since Hayley successfully defended against Yuri Blade at Carnival of Conquest, it was time to determine her next challenger in a 3 Way Main Event match between La Biblioteca, Janice Janet, and Marcee. With Council of M being banned from ringside, Marcee still tried everything in her power to cheat her way to a victory. Despite her best efforts, Biblioteca hit Janet with the Checkout to earn a match for the PSA Women’s World Championship at Tidal Wave!
CARNIVAL OF CONQUEST: 05/23/24
Carnival of Conquest opened with the Heck in a Seck match between The High Five and Binglebottom Entourages for the PSA Trios Championship! In a chaotic matchup that had bodies flying everywhere, Lochlan pinned Reynolds after he was stomped through the cage by Goldielox. With this, The High Five will be unable to challenge for the Title as long as Binglebottom Entourages are the Champions.
Next, Swashbucklin’ Sheri faced Brittany Blake in a Blindfold Match for the Roster Roulette Championship. Both women impressed many in the PSA Faithful, but Blake managed to retain after hitting the Goldie-DT.
The Fab Few received their first opportunity for the PSA Tag Team Championship against The Beautiful Boys. In a fabulously intense contest, Hale pinned Robbins after the two hit the Element of Surprise to retain the gold.
Andrew Frankenstein faced Pletch next. As “The Mad Scientist” made his entrance, he revealed his dastardly creation: a clone of Skull Gigante! This minion proved helpful in this match, as his distractions helped Frankenstein hit Pletch with the Body Bag and pick up the victory. After the match, Frankenstein installed a necklace on Pletch that allows him to control "The Pig's" body, mind, and spirit. Together, “The Mad Lads” will reshape PSA in their image!
Gorilla Warfare had the opportunity to prove themselves against “The Gatekeepers of Tag Team Wrestling,” JX2. Although both teams showcased their tag team prowess, the new team got the victory when Grabowski pinned Jindrak with the GMD. Everetts proceeded to shake Warren’s and Grabowski’s hands, as their victory proved that Gorilla Warfare will be a force to be reckoned with in PSA’s tag team division.
Yuri Blade looked to prove herself better than Swashbucklin’ Sheri when she challenged Hayley for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Despite her best efforts, Blade became the next woman to succumb to the Spear during Hayley’s reign as Champion.
Tonight’s Main Event was one of the biggest matches in PSA history: Ultimate Hour Champion Corwin vs PSA World Champion Drew Pender IV in a 2/3 Falls Count Anywhere Winner Takes All match. Drew picked up the first fall with a brutal Spear, but Corwin evened the odds with a Power Word Kill. After hitting two more Power Word Kills, Corwin hit a third on an incapacitated Pender to earn the decisive final pinfall. Holding both Titles in hand, Corwin ascended a ladder in the ring so the whole world could see that "The Devil's Chosen One" is the undisputed ruler of PSA.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 05/16/24
Ultimate Hour opened with Gorilla Warfare making their way to the ring. As Warren grabbed a microphone, he made their request simple: they want to know why JX2 disrespected them last week. As the duo of James Jindrak and Jim Everetts walked down the ramp, they commended Gorilla Warfare for their win last week over former PSA Tag Team Champions. However, in their eyes it doesn’t mean anything. They have been around since day one, and no tag team in PSA is worth a damn until they beat JX2, “The Gatekeepers of Tag Team Wrestling.” This caused tension between the teams, so Dru Parcher announced they will settle this at Carnival of Conquest!
Keith agreed to give Leonard Lopez’s idea a chance in a match against one of PSA’s toughest competitors, Dave. Dave was confident that he would make quick work of “Mr. Lose Guy,” but he was shocked to learn that Keith is more resilient than he looks. After lifting up the goliath for a brutal Shock and Awe, Keith left the ring with another victory under his belt.
When Keith made his way backstage, he was greeted by Lopez. He asked his friend how he was feeling, and Keith responded that he didn’t like his match; he loved it! Keith promised that big things were coming for him, but he ran away in excitement before he could give any details.
Next, we spoke with Hayley, who was just medically cleared to compete at Carnival of Conquest against her challenger, Yuri Blade. The PSA Women’s World Champion promised to dish out double the amount of pain she endured last week, and even then the punishment will have only begun. At Carnival of Conquest, Hayley vows to remain the Goddess of PSA.
The must-see Fashion Showdown between The Fab Few and The Beautiful Boys took centerstage. Broski and Robbins sported a more classic style, but Hale and Curtis dressed so exotically that they had no choice but to win the competition! This angered the challengers, who look to seek vengeance in their PSA Tag Team Championship match at Carnival of Conquest.
Backstage, Pletch was asked what his upcoming match with Andrew Frankenstein means to him. He didn’t say much, but he did say that this is the first time in a long time that he finally feels free. If beating Frankenstein is what it takes to keep that freedom, then he’s willing to fight for it.
Before her Title defense at Carnival of Conquest, Brittany Blake stepped in the ring with La Biblioteca. Two of PSA’s greatest talents had a fantastic bout, with Blake hitting the Britt-Knee to secure the victory.
Binglebottom Entourages held an emergency meeting next. Binglebottom yelled at Goldielox for his failure last week, as they wouldn’t even be in this mess if he wouldn’t have accepted The High Five’s match request. He demanded excellence from the Trios Champions at Carnival of Conquest, as the week after they will hold an investor’s report for the faction’s recent performance. Wanting to inspire their leader, Dean Cottonsmith promised to make things better in a match right now!
Dean Cottonsmith ran down to the ring, but he was nervous to discover he was facing one of the hottest new stars in PSA, Mark Cooper Jr! Cottonsmith has clearly improved over the past couple of weeks, but it was not enough to walk out on top. After messing with his competition, Cooper hit California Dreamin’ to knock Cottonsmith out cold.
PSA Flashback- Corwin and Drew Pender have a rivalry that is unlike anything we have ever seen before in PSA. In addition to being twin brothers with a mysterious falling out, their story begins all the way back on the first event in PSA’s history: Ground Zero 2021. Both men were a part of the Ladder Match to crown the inaugural PSA World Champion, and Pender was heartbroken to see Corwin claim the Gold. Later that Season, Drew and Corwin faced off in singles competition for the first time on the October 12 edition of Ultimate Hour. Pender absolutely embarrassed the World Champion, so much so that Corwin lost the Title to Pletch a few moments later! Drew was satisfied that he was responsible for Corwin losing the Championship, but he reclaimed it a month later in PSA’s first War Dome. Their issues boiled over once again in Season 2, when they faced off in a Championship Unification Last Man Standing match at PSA: Issue 22. Much to his dismay, Drew was incapacitated by his older brother and left the show without the Hardcore Title. Desperate to become World Champion, Drew entered The Summit to earn a match with Undkban, who had defeated Corwin to become Champion. He went on to face Corwin in the Semifinals, albeit in a losing effort. This match was the point that morphed Drew Pender from the “King of Hardcore” to the “God of PSA,” which he officially proclaimed once he finally became PSA World Champion (in a 3 Way match involving Corwin). This was a complete reinvention for Pender, who has solidified himself as the greatest World Champion in PSA history. “The Devil’s Chosen One” has reinvented himself as well, defeating the likes of Keith, Johnny Warren, Undkban, and many others to be known as the greatest Ultimate Hour Champion of all time. The two men, better than ever, will now collide a fourth time in a 2/3 Falls Count Anywhere match, with the winner leaving as both the Ultimate Hour and the PSA World Champion. It will be Brother vs Brother, Devil vs God, and Champion vs Champion at Carnival of Conquest!
Tonight’s Main Event was the legendary third encounter between Brock Lee and Drov. This time, the men were locked inside a monstrous Steel Cage, and they both used it to their advantage. Drov emerged victorious after hitting Constancy, but Lee won the hearts of the PSA Faithful with his incredible performance.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 05/09/24
Earlier in the day, Chris Andres approached Anthony Justice backstage. Andres told him that he proved himself to be the better wrestler last week, and that he deserves a match against Justice for the ownership of the Debt Collector. Justice refused, saying that one match doesn’t mean anything; he’s the Debt Collector, and it’s going to stay that way. This discussion brought over Shawn Westin, who said that if Justice doesn’t want a match against Andres tonight, then he does. This caused some tension between Westin and Justice, but this match will open tonight’s show!
Shawn Westin vs Chris Andres had high expectations, and it lived up to them. Westin has a high-octane offense that is difficult to counter, but Andres was able to match this intensity. In the end, Andres was caught removing the turnbuckle pad, which allowed Westin to hit him with the Breakaway and pick up the victory.
The Fab Few appeared next to speak about their upcoming Tag Team Title match. They are tired of being disrespected in PSA, and Carnival of Conquest is their chance to right these wrongs. “The Beautiful Boys are already out of style, and to prove it we challenge them to a Fashion Showdown next week!” Will the Champions graciously accept this offer?
Next, Drew Pender sat down for an exclusive interview about his relationship with Corwin. He revealed that yes, the two are fraternal twins. They used to be inseparable, but they had a falling out so horrendous that Pender couldn’t even begin to explain without tearing up. Regardless, they have been mortal enemies ever since. Pender has agreed to put his World Title on the line, but only if Corwin defends the Ultimate Hour Championship as well. At Carnival of Conquest, it will be Winner Takes All!
Andrew Frankenstein appeared in his laboratory to explain his appearance last week. Frankenstein began by claiming he had a master plan that would ensure he becomes a future PSA World Champion. After studying every World Title holder in PSA’s history, he found some similarities between them. One of them is having a group of devout followers, and this is Frankenstein’s first objective. Pletch has proven to be the greatest candidate for this position, so he created a device that will give him complete control of “The Pig.” Once this task has been accomplished, more of his plan will be revealed.
Since Goldielox was the one to accept The High Five’s request for a PSA Trios Championship match, he was the one chosen to step in the ring against Gilgadar, with the winner getting to pick the match’s stipulation. Goldielox looked impressive in this fight, but Gilgadar used his incredible reflexes to dodge the Goldiestomp and hit the Timeout to get the win. With this, The High Five announced that the teams will fight in a Heck in a Seck match at Carnival of Conquest!
Next, The Disciples spoke about next week’s Main Event: the Steel Cage match between Brock Lee and Drov. Undkban warned Lee to quit while he was ahead, as stepping in the ring with Drov could send him into early retirement. As they continued their threats, Casual Adam walked in front of the trio, waved at the camera, and kept going. With this one action, it was clear that Undkban felt extremely disrespected, but he was too shocked to do anything in the moment.
As Casual Adam kept walking, he passed Hayley, who made her grand return to PSA. As she made her way onto the entrance ramp, she was beaten down by Yuri Blade! Blade said that Swashbucklin’ Sheri is weak and asks for Title Matches, while she demands them; at Carnival of Conquest, she wants a shot at the Women’s World Title. As Hayley was helped by medical personnel, Blade continued down the ramp to wait for her upcoming singles opponent, Flozelle.
Yuri Blade made short work of Flozelle, as all it took was one Chaos Bringer to secure the pin. Will Hayley be cleared in time for a match with Blade at Carnival of Conquest?
Brittany Blade, proudly displaying the Roster Roulette Championship around her waist, accepted Sheri’s request for a match at Carnival of Conquest. The two women have a lot of history together, so it will be exciting to see how the next installment in this rivalry will pan out!
Leonard Lopez was found talking with Keith backstage. He thanked his friend for believing in him, and he hopes that last week’s win is the first of many on the way to Championship Gold. Keith was happy for Lopez, but it was clear that he felt a little lost. Lopez encouraged him to find a new purpose; maybe he could go for a Title of his own? Keith was unsure, but Lopez convinced him to wrestle a match next week against one of PSA’s biggest powerhouses: Dave.
The Ultimate Hour Main Event got underway as Gorilla Warfare made their in-ring debut against The Braxton Brothers. With all four men in the ring being former PSA Tag Team Champions, the in-ring caliber of this match was unparalleled. Warren and Grabowski felt like a natural pairing, and this was no more evident than when the two hit Alex Braxton with the GMD (Gorilla of Mass Destruction) to win the match. As Gorilla Warfare celebrated their victory, they were surprised to see the arrival of JX2, who were standing in the entranceway giving them sarcastic applause as the show came to a close.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 05/02/24
Ultimate Hour opened with the PSA World Champion, Drew Pender. The PSA Faithful expected him to be happy with his Title defense at Now or Never, but it was clear that other things were on Pender’s mind. When he did make it to the ring, he demanded the presence of the Ultimate Hour Champion, Corwin. “The Devil’s Chosen One” happily obliged, flanked by his devout followers. Drew wanted an explanation about why he was interrupted during one of the biggest moments of his career; was Corwin jealous that someone else has been a better World Champion than he could ever dream of? Pender approached his rival, but he was grabbed by TYSON and Voltand! Corwin told “The God” that he has been in his shadow their entire lives, and that now it will come to an end. “At Carnival of Conquest, I will take that World Title from you and prove that I have always been the superior brother.” After hitting Drew with the Power Word Kill, The Hallowed Divine made their way up the ramp.
After the earth-shattering revelation that Corwin and Drew Pender are brothers, the night continued with Ben Richards vs Dr. Chris Chan. Despite both being members of PSA since Season 1, these two men have never had a singles match together. It was an electric match, but Richards hit the Bankroller on Chan to walk out on top.
Next, Brock Lee was interviewed about his upcoming Steel Cage match with Drov in two weeks. When asked if he felt ready for this intense match so soon after returning from injury, Lee gave an enthusiastic thumbs up, reminding the interviewer that he does not speak. Even so, the PSA Faithful is eager to see the third installment in this iconic rivalry.
Next, Dru Parcher requested the 2024 Debt Collectors, Cruella Castonova and Anthony Justice, to join him in the ring. Castonova received thunderous cheers, but Justice was given a lukewarm reception. Parcher asked both Debt Collectors what they plan to do with their contracts, but they were interrupted by Chris Andres and Yuri Blade before they could respond. Blade told Castonova she only won because of Swashbucklin’ Sheri’s incompetence, and Andres told Justice that not only is he not deserving of the briefcase, but the fans don’t want him to have it either! The tension in the ring was palpable, so Parcher decided that an impromptu mixed tag team match was the only solution.
In the match of Anthony Justice and Cruella Castonova vs Chris Andres and Yuri Blade, Justice’s anger was his downfall; his refusal to tag in his partner when he should have resulted in Andres securing the victory with the Flame On.
Leonard Lopez approached Keith in the parking lot, eager to see who their opponents were in tonight’s Main Event. To his surprise, however, Keith was not wrestling tonight. Keith explained to Lopez that he gave him everything he wanted: a friend. Although they didn’t hold the Tag Team Championship for very long, he wouldn't want to win them with anyone else. Now that his dream has been fulfilled, it’s time for him to help Lopez achieve his dream of being a singles Champion. Tonight, Keith will accompany Lopez to the ring when he faces Pletch in tonight’s Main Event!
The PSA Faithful welcomed the new PSA Tag Team Champions, The Beautiful Boys! The duo captured a Championship in their debut match, which has garnered a lot of respect from most fans. As the duo reminisced about their careers thus far and what their goals are for the future, they were interrupted by the return of The Fab Few. Chad Broski and Craig Robbins could not believe that Dru Parcher not only brought in an inferior copy of themselves, but he gave them a Tag Team Championship match before a team that has been around for two years! As the teams argued, it was announced that they will settle their differences in a Title match at Carnival of Conquest.
Swashbucklin’ Sheri faced Silva Sista in singles action next. After hitting Sista with a Cannonball in the corner, Sheri climbed the top rope and hit a second one to get the victory. After the match, Sheri grabbed a microphone. She called out Yuri Blade for calling her “incompetent,” especially considering the fact that she lost at Now or Never since she shouldn’t get the job done when it mattered most. To prove that she has always been better, Sheri challenged Brittany Blake to a match for the Roster Roulette Championship at Carnival of Conquest. Will the Champion accept?
As Sheri left the arena, The High Five came down to the ring to issue a challenge of their own. With El Gigante out for the foreseeable future, they need to do something to make him proud. In their eyes, reclaiming the PSA Trios Championship is the only way to do that. This brought out Binglebottom Entourages, who declined their request; they already beat them twice, why do it a third time? However, Gilgadar explained that they cheated both times, and that one more match is the only way to determine who the real Trios Champions should be. Goldielox, seemingly feeling guilt from their previous Title Defense, accepted on behalf of the Champions, to the anger of his teammates. Regardless, the match was made official for Carnival of Conquest!
Before tonight’s Main Event, Johnny Warren and Josh Grabowski spoke for the first time since their losses at Now or Never. The pair talked a lot over their time away, and they decided that now is the time to join forces as the newest members of PSA’s tag team division. “Gorilla Warfare” will make their in-ring debuts next week!
Leonard Lopez, accompanied to the ring by Keith, faced Pletch in the final match of the evening. In a back-and-forth contest, Lopez reversed the Pork Chop into the Jawbreaker to get the win. As The K+L Qlub celebrated up the ramp, Pletch was left unconscious in the ring. The lights flickered, revealing Andrew Frankenstein lurking over “The Pig’s” body! As Pletch regained consciousness, the lights flickered again, with Frankenstein nowhere to be seen.
NOW OR NEVER: 04/25/24
Season 9 kicked off with the Now or Never Battle Royal, with the winner receiving a PSA World Championship match in tonight’s Main Event! Several men made their PSA debuts in this match, and they did not disappoint. Cobra Drake and Mark Cooper Jr. both recorded two eliminations, while Mob Boss Brody had one. There were also a few returns in this battle royal. This included JX2’s James Jindrak and Jim Everetts (who recorded an impressive 4 eliminations), and Brock Lee, who ran to the ring and took the fight to The Disciples! He was unsuccessful in this endeavor, as he was eliminated by Draco. “The Dragon” went on to throw five others over the top rope to emerge victorious and secure his place as tonight’s Challenger. Could Season 9 be the birth of a new PSA World Champion?
Next, Corwin defended the Ultimate Hour Championship against Dr. Chris Chan. The PSA Faithful were hopeful that Chan would become a three-time UH Champion, but there was no world in which “The Devil’s Chosen One” would let that happen. After a brutal Power Word Kill right to the nose of Dr. Chan, Corwin left the same way he entered: Champion.
Cruella Castonova, La Biblioteca, Janice Janet, Marcee, Swashbucklin’ Sheri, and Yuri Blade competed in the Women’s Debt Collection Ladder Match. There were ladders everywhere in this match, much to the delight of the fans in attendance. After Sheri and Blade knocked each other off the ladder, Castonova climbed up, retrieved the briefcase, and took her place in history as the 2024 Women’s Debt Collector!
The Beautiful Boys made their PSA debut in a Tag Team Championship Open Challenge, courtesy of The K+L Qlub! Keith and Lopez have proven that they are great friends and an incredible pair, but Cameron Curtis and Richard Hale used the Element of Surprise to win the match and crown themselves as the new PSA Tag Team Champions!
Brittany Blake defended her Roster Roulette Championship for the first time in a Last Woman Standing match against Macho Mars. In an absolutely brutal showdown, Blake retained the Title after planting Mars directly on the wooden stairs with a Goldie-DT.
The 2024 Men’s Debt Collector was determined in a ladder match between Andrew Frankenstein, Shawn Westin, Chris Andres, Samuel Binglebottom, Anthony Justice, and Ben Richards. Everyone had their fan favorite in this match, but many were surprised when they saw Justice climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase! The other competitors as well as the PSA Faithful were disappointed with this result, but it remains to be seen whether or not this will impact Justice’s psyche heading into the future.
The Main Event of the evening saw Draco face Drew Pender for the PSA World Championship. Pender has never fought a man of this size during his World Championship reign, so the PSA Faithful treated him as a bit of an underdog. Even so, Pender emerged victorious when he hit Draco with a powerful Spear from the middle rope. As Pender celebrated the continuation of his legendary reign, he was confronted by the Ultimate Hour Champion, Corwin! These two have a storied history, and it appears that the next chapter will soon be written.
