SEASON 5 RESULTS
FINEST HOUR: 03/24/23
Finest Hour opened with a Steel Cage match between BnB and Dummy Wide for the PSA Hardcore Tag Team Championship. In order to preserve himself for the War Dome later tonight, Drew Pender left the cage early while Louie Hamstring kept their opponents at bay. This proved to be a fatal error, as Ben and Greg Richards worked as a team to trap Hamstring in the ropes and escape the cage to become the new PSA Tag Team Champions!
Voltand faced Bruno Bolousek next. In one of the most brutal matches in PSA history, Bolousek hit Voltand with the Marauder to emerge victorious.
The PSA Ultimate Hour Championship was on the line between Keith, Mark Cooper, and Brad Cooper. Mark and Brad were mostly focused on each other, but Keith used this to his advantage. Mark hit Brad with a Tornado Kick, but Keith hit Mark with a Shock and Awe onto the wooden steps to become the new PSA Ultimate Hour Champion!
The Disciples aimed to fulfill their destiny when they faced Binglebottom Enterprises for the PSA Trios Championship. In an intense matchup, Drov choked out Lochlan to make The Disciples the new PSA Trios Champions.
Next, Brittany Blake and Maria Phoenix fought in a Last Woman Standing match. After an absolute war, Phoenix hit Maria’s Inferno off the top rope to keep Blake down for the 10 count.
The Ultimatum looked for revenge against the team of the Jonsun Culinary Academy and El Gigante. The Ultimatum made short work of their opponents, with TYSON hitting Jeff Jonsun with the Dome Driver for the win.
The PSA Women’s World Championship was on the line in a 4 way between Sheri Nichols, Hayley, Heather N. Marcus, and Marcee. This match was absolute chaos, but Marcus managed to pin Hayley while Marcee and Nichols were brawling at ringside to become a 2-time PSA Women’s World Champion.
The Main Event of Finest Hour, as well as the final match of Season 5, was the World Championship War Dome. Corwin and Drew Pender opened the match, but they were soon joined by Andrew Frankowski, Pletch, Josh Grabowski, and Johnny Warren. Corwin was desperate to reclaim the Title, which resulted in the elimination of Pletch and Frankowski. Drew Pender picked up an elimination as well in the form of Josh Grabowski. With only half the field remaining, Warren managed to eliminate Corwin with the Warhammer. Against all odds, Warren hit a running headbutt on a helmeted Pender to defeat the “President of Hardcore” and remain the PSA World Champion!
PSA FLASHBACK: 3/23/23
As PSA looks forward to Finest Hour, it is important to take a step back to remember how far we have come. In this edition of PSA Flashback, we will retell the journey of each participant in the World Championship War Dome at Finest Hour.
Andrew Frankowski made his PSA debut in Season 2 as a member of the CKC Ladder Match at Plugged In. He proved to be a star in the making when he fought his way to that Season’s Battle Nexus Finals, but he ultimately lost the match to Leonard Lopez. In Season 3, he began his iconic partnership with Josh Grabowski. As The Owskis, the two men captured the PSA Tag Team Championship in a 3 Way Tag Team Heck in a Seck match against The War Hogs and The Coopers. This led to a heated rivalry with Dummy Wide over the Titles, which culminated in their loss at Season 5’s Plugged In. Frankowski then fought his way through the Battle Nexus All-Stars Tournament, defeating Leonard Lopez, Samuel Binglebottom, and Keith in the process. Now, “The Engineer” is eager to capture his first singles Championship at Finest Hour.
Corwin is a name that is synonymous with PSA. As the inaugural PSA World Champion, he is no stranger to being the best in the world. After losing the Title to Pletch, he recaptured it in PSA’s first War Dome match at Season 1’s Thanksgiving Sin. He reigned with the Championship until Season 2’s Finest Hour, where he was defeated by Undkban. Ever since, Corwin has been hungry to regain the World Title. He spent Season 3 and Season 4 destroying his fiercest rivals to prove to his higher power that he is still worthy. This included Andrew Frankowski, Josh Grabowski, Drew Pender, Pletch, and The Disciples. After getting a first round bye in the Battle Nexus All-Star Tournament, he defeated Jim Everetts and had a count-out draw with Pletch to make his way to the War Dome. Will Corwin become a 3-time PSA World Champion at Finest Hour?
Josh Grabowski has always been destined for greatness. After making his debut halfway through Season 1, he was the inaugural Battle Nexus Winner when he defeated The Observer in the Finals. Despite a losing effort against Corwin at Season 2’s Plugged In, he went on to defeat The Observer once again at Finest Hour. In Season 3, Grabowski won the CKC and used it to win the PSA Tag Team Championship with his longtime friend, Andrew Frankowski. This led to a heated rivalry with Dummy Wide over the Titles, which culminated in their loss at Season 5’s Plugged In. After getting a bye in the Battle Nexus All-Stars tournament, he defeated Craig Robbins and Doctor Phase on his way to the War Dome. Will Grabowski finally become a World Champion at Finest Hour?
Pletch has never received the respect he deserves. As the inaugural CKC Holder, he defeated Corwin to become the second-ever PSA World Champion. After losing the Title in the first War Dome, he started a rivalry with Johnny Warren. The two eventually became friends, which led to The War Hogs defeating The Disciples at Season 2’s Finest Hour to become the PSA Tag Team Champions. After losing the Championship to The Owskis, Pletch reignited his rivalry with Corwin in the first-ever Devil’s Playground match at Season 3’s Ground Zero. In Season 4, Pletch was determined to prove to everyone that he should be treated as a serious threat, as he took the likes of Voltand and Brad Cooper to the limit. His wins over Greg Richards, Leaf Sinn, and Ben Richards and his draw with Corwin in the Battle Nexus All-Stars Tournament prove that he is a force to be reckoned with in PSA.
Drew Pender is no stranger to Championship gold. After failing to become the inaugural PSA World Champion, Pender represented the company as the honorary PSA Hardcore Champion. He held this Championship for 169 days, and he defended it against competitors like Hernado Muertes (then known as El Chupapolla) and his longtime rival, Leonard Lopez. In Season 2, he lost the Hardcore Title in a unification match against the PSA World Champion, Corwin, at PSA: Issue 22. To prove to everyone that he was as hardcore as ever, Pender started the Extreme Open Challenge to claw his way back to a Championship. This proved to work, as Drew Pender and Louie Hamstring defeated The Owskis at Ground Zero to become the PSA “Hardcore” Tag Team Champions. They still reign to this day, with Pender having to compete in two matches at Finest Hour. Will Drew Pender do the impossible and walk out of Season 5 as a double Champion?
Johnny Warren is the lifeblood of PSA. As the inaugural PSA Ultimate Hour Champion, he led the company in its earliest days. When he was defeated by Undkban for the Title, his focus turned to the PSA World Championship. Unfortunately, he was barred from competing for the Title as long as Corwin was still Champion following his loss at Season 1’s Christmas Calamity. This led to an uneasy partnership with Pletch that eventually became a close friendship. After defeating The Disciples to become PSA Tag Team Champions, The War Hogs defended against JX2 (formerly known as Jim Squared) and The Coopers before they were bested by The Owskis. Warren then defeated Corwin in the Battle of The Summit to earn a World Championship match against his bitter foe, Undkban. At Season 3’s Ground Zero, Warren toppled Undkban to fulfill his dream of becoming PSA World Champion. He has been the Title Holder ever since, defending against Bruno Bolousek, Dalton Pepper, Voltand, Dr. Chris Chan, and Chad “Le Tigre” Broski. Can Warren handle his biggest challenge yet and walk out PSA World Champion?
BLAST FROM THE PAST: 03/21/23
The Marvelous Boyz made the most of their return, but they were still defeated by The Fab Few.
Anne Griffin hit the Talon on Lizzo to earn the singles victory.
In a 15-Minute Tablegeddon match, Mr. Incredible defeated Charizard and The Terminator 3-2-0.
Shang-Chi proved to be the superior member of the International Icons when he defeated Ezio Auditore, Hasbulla, and The Joker.
In the Main Event, The Docs rekindled their friendship in a victory over The Darakovs.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 03/17/23
Cory Parcher opened Ultimate Hour to address the hostile takeover of After Hours by The Ultimatum. He was noticeably angrier than he has ever been, which fueled his next announcement. As punishment for their actions, they will face the Jonsun Culinary Academy and El Gigante at Finest Hour in trios action.
Heather N. Marcus and Sheri Nichols teamed up to face Hayley and Marcee next. Spack Jarrow appeared to be the difference maker, as Nichols hit the Cannonball on Hayley to pick up the win for her team.
The Ultimate Hour Title contract signing was next. Brad and Mark Cooper were seconds away from tearing each other apart, but they were interrupted by Cory Parcher. He thought about what Brad Cooper said last week, and he agreed. Only the best should be competing for this Title, and he has someone who he believes has earned this opportunity. Out came Keith, who has now made the Title match at Finest Hour a 3 Way!
The chaos continued on Ultimate Hour, as Brittany Blake and Maria Phoenix brawled around the arena. These two cannot wait to destroy the other at Finest Hour.
After last week, Leaf Sinn took his post card and left the arena to go to the address. As he was exiting, a shadowy figure was seen following him to his destination.
Drov and Dean Cottonsmith faced off next. Cottonsmith put up an effort, but it was not a great one. Drov hit Constancy to win the match in anticipation of their Trios Championship match.
Dummy Wide gave a speech regarding their Championship defense at Finest Hour. Not only will they walk out of their steel cage match against BnB with the Titles, but Pender will also leave as the PSA World Champion.
With Bruno Bolousek watching backstage, Voltand hit the Icepick on Anthony Justice to get a singles win.
Corwin appeared backstage next. He told the PSA Faithful that it is his destiny to become a 3-Time PSA World Champion.
The Main Event of Ultimate Hour was The War Hogs vs The Owskis. Andrew Frankowski hit the Sandbag on Pletch to get a huge victory over the World Champion. Johnny Warren showed respect to The Owskis after the match, but Pletch stormed off in frustration.
AFTER HOURS: 03/14/23
Before the first match of After Hours could commence, The Ultimatum ran through the crowd and took control of the show by force. They are tired of being treated like nobodies, they get screwed out of title matches, and they get put on a show that no one watches. They want Cory Parcher at Finest Hour; and they’re not taking no for an answer. To prevent additional controversy from the invaders, the feed to After Hours was cut for the remainder of the broadcast.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 03/10/23
Ultimate Hour began with Maria Phoenix speaking in the ring. Accompanied by Grace Adonis, she addressed Brittany Blake directly. The two have unfinished business, and she wants to destroy her in a Last Woman Standing match at Finest Hour. Blake came out and told Phoenix that she wanted to fight now, but she’ll gladly beat up Adonis instead. Both competitors accepted, leading to an impromptu match next.
In the match between Brittany Blake and Grace Adonis, Blake hit the Goldie-DT to get a huge win over Adonis and build momentum towards her Last Woman Standing match with Phoenix at Finest Hour.
Brad Cooper stormed down to the ring next. He was enraged that his brother is getting a Championship match, as he has done nothing to deserve this opportunity. The Ultimate Hour Championship should be fought between men worthy of representing PSA, and none is more qualified than “The Butcher.” He will squash his brother like a grape and continue the longest Ultimate Hour Championship reign in history at Finest Hour.
Leaf Sinn was interviewed backstage about what is next for him in PSA. He said that his return has been memorable, but it hasn’t gone the way he hoped. He wants to be better than ever, but he doesn’t know how to do it. As he was about to leave, a member of PSA’s equipment crew handed Sinn a postcard. On the card was an address and three simple words: “The Promised Land.”
Bruno Bolousek faced Keith while Voltand watched at ringside next. This was Keith’s biggest challenge yet, and he rose to the occasion. After everything that the “Moscow Menace” threw at Keith, he refused to quit. Bolousek had to lock in the Mark of the Allmother to make Keith pass out, leading to the victory. After the match, Keith got a standing ovation from the crowd for his inspiring performance.
BnB cut a promo next. They, like many of the tag teams in PSA, are tired of having Dummy Wide as Champions. They do not care about the integrity of this sport; they just care about having a piece of jewelry around their waist. To Dummy Wide, it’s a status symbol; to them, it’s a way of life. Louie Hamstring, the VP of Hardcore, came out to tell the challengers that no matter what they do, they will never defeat the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in history. The three men had a tense staredown, but Hamstring retreated to the locker room.
TYSON and El Gigante squared off next. With the Dome Driver, TYSON picked up the win. To send a message to Cory Parcher, The Ultimatum beat down El Gigante. PSA security ran down to the ring and escorted the three men out of the arena, who have now been suspended for the foreseeable future.
The Disciples appeared in the ring. Undkban began by saying that now that the trio is back, PSA can continue to be molded in their image. Soon, they will fulfill their destiny of becoming Trios Champions, which leads them one step closer to total annihilation.
Dr. Chris Chan spoke in the ring next. He told The Darakovs that regardless of him having a partner or not, he’s not going to let them bully him without a fight. The Darakovs wasted no time in beating down Dr. Chan. When they went to hit the Demolisher, Doctor Phase made a surprise save! A match between The Darakovs and the reformed Docs will take place at Blast from the Past.
Marcee came down to the ring to celebrate her Women’s World Championship win. She told the PSA Faithful that she will defend this Title with honor, which is a far cry from her first Championship reign. She was then interrupted by Heather N. Marcus, who said that if they faced in a real one-on-one match, there’s no way Marcee would have walked out on top. Hayley and Sheri Nichols also came down to the ring, as they both feel like they are owed a Women’s World Championship match. In a spur-of-the-moment decision, Cory Parcher walked out on stage and announced that the four women in the ring will compete for the Women’s World Title at Finest Hour.
Leonard Lopez hit the Jawbreaker on Gilgadar to put an end to their long-standing rivalry.
Corwin, Pletch, Andrew Frankowski, Josh Grabowski, Drew Pender, and Johnny Warren came down to the ring for the World Championship War Dome contract signing. Chaos ensued after each man signed the contract, but it was clear that three teams emerged: The War Hogs, The Owskis, and the team of Corwin and Drew Pender. To get some of their frustration out prior to Finest Hour, Parcher announced that the War Hogs and The Owskis will face off on the go-home edition of Ultimate Hour.
AFTER HOURS: 03/07/23
Dr. Chris Chan defeated Gary Macintosh with the Medical Malpractice.
The Darakovs put Dennison Theatrics in their place with an easy win.
Piggina hit Karen with the Hammy Hoedown to emerge victorious.
With a huge Shock and Awe, Keith added another win to his record against Craig Robbins.
DOUBLE TROUBLE NIGHT TWO: 03/03/23
Night two of Double Trouble surprisingly opened with a bruised and battered Virtuoso. He, accompanied to the ring by Mr. Goober, told the PSA Faithful that he is tired of being treated like a human punching bag. He used to be a top competitor, and he took the best to the limit. One such name was Johnny Warren during his Ultimate Hour Championship reign. In a fit of rage, The Virtuoso demanded a match with Warren right now, to prove that he is just as good as he says he is. Warren, not in wrestling gear, came down to the ring and squashed The Virtuoso in a matter of seconds. The Virtuoso, along with Mr. Goober, were embarrassingly escorted out of the arena.
Bruno Bolousek vs Leaf Sinn occurred next. Sinn put up an impressive effort, but Bolousek locked in the Mark of the Allmother to get the win. After the match, Bolousek grabbed a microphone and demanded someone from the locker room to give him a real challenge. His demands were met, as Voltand came to the ring for a tense staredown. Shortly after, it was announced that the two will clash at Finest Hour.
Mark Cooper came to the ring next to discuss his upcoming PSA Ultimate Hour Championship match with Brad Cooper at Finest Hour. “Shotgun” thanked the PSA Faithful for never forgetting about him, and he promised to make the most of this opportunity. He said that Brad has always been a jealous wannabe, so he’s finally going to put him in his place.
JX2 and BnB squared off in a Tag Team Championship #1 Contendership match. Jindrak and Everetts tried to cheat their way to a victory, but Ben Richards hit the Bankroller on Jindrak to pick up the win.
Backstage, Dr. Chris Chan confronted Doctor Phase before his match with Josh Grabowski. He knows the two had a huge falling out, but he wanted to wish him the best of luck tonight. Phase thanked him, but he told Chan that he’s not stupid; he knows he’s here to ask for backup against The Darakovs. As much as he would love to take out those bullies and relive the “glory days,” he’s only back to compete in the Battle Nexus. After wishing Chan the best of luck, Phase went out the ring for his match.
The Season 3 Battle Nexus All-Stars Finals match between Josh Grabowski and Doctor Phase was next. After a back-and-forth encounter, Grabowski hit the 10KG to defeat Phase and take his place as the final member of the World Championship War Dome at Finest Hour.
The Main Event of Double was a Blindfold match for the PSA Women’s World Championship. Marcee and Heather N. Marcus have had a heated rivalry in recent weeks, so this was a matchup that fans have been dying to see. After all the pain each woman put the other through, Marcee hit the Period Pad to win the match and become the NEW PSA Women’s World Champion! HNM tried to attack Marcee, but Hayley made her long-awaited return to save the Champion.
AFTER HOURS: 02/28/23
The Virtuoso’s bad luck continued when he was destroyed by Voltand.
JX2 defeated a local tag team, The Braxton Brothers.
TYSON made quick work of Gary Macintosh by hitting him with the Dome Driver.
Azura bested Princess Zelda after nailing the Lost in Translation.
DOUBLE TROUBLE NIGHT ONE: 02/24/23
Cory Parcher opened night one of Double Trouble to give an announcement. Unfortunately, Cali Dynamite sustained an injury during last week’s Semifinals match that will put him out of action for several months. Therefore, he will be unable to continue in the Battle Nexus Tournament. As Parcher was about to announce his replacement, Drew Pender came down to the ring. The current PSA Hardcore Tag Team Champion told Parcher that he should be given another chance, as the replay from last week proved that his shoulder was actually up before the count of three. However, he was also interrupted by Mark Cooper, who told Parcher that not only was he not pinned last week, but he deserves the opportunity to get in the ring with his brother. Brad Cooper also came out to the ring, as he was demanding that Parcher fire Mark if he gets anywhere near him and his Championship. This was the last straw for Parcher, who scolded the three men for constantly trying to undermine him. He told Mark that he will talk with him later this evening, but the Battle Nexus replacement will be Pender, as he should have never been pinned to begin with. Brad Cooper tried to laugh at his brother, but the GM told Cooper to get in the ring; the match starts now!
Brad Cooper and Drew Pender waged on next. Although Brad Cooper has been nearly unstoppable as the PSA Ultimate Hour Champion, Drew Pender made the most of his second chance. Pender hit the What Comes Up Must Come Down to pin Cooper and advance to the World Championship War Dome at Finest Hour.
Keith and Andrew Frankowsk competed in the Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 2 Finals. It is amazing to see Keith turn his career around, but Frankowski hit the Sandbag to emerge victorious. He will take his place as one of the participants in the World Championship War Dome.
Mark Cooper was seen talking with Cory Parcher backstage next. After all that he has been through, he feels the least Parcher could do is give him a match with his brother for the Ultimate Hour Championship. After giving it some thought, he agreed; the two will clash at Finest Hour.
Brittany Blake faced Sheri Nichols in a highly anticipated matchup. Spack Jarrow helped even the odds for his pirate princess, but Blake was not going to put up with the shenanigans. After Jarrow got ejected, Brittany Blake hit the Goldie-DT to get a huge win. While she was celebrating, Maria Phoenix made her long-awaited return! She laid out Blake and celebrated in front of the PSA Faithful; it’s clear that these two have unfinished business.
Damascus appeared backstage next. He told the PSA Faithful that he understands why people may be wary of him, but all he wants to do is help others. Whether people want it or not, Damascus will do whatever it takes to lead everyone to the Promised Land.
Leonard Lopez addressed Gilgadar’s challenge to a match. To put it simply, Lopez doesn’t think that it is worth his time. As he got ready to leave, Gilgadar appeared out of nowhere to attack Lopez! After the two got pulled apart by PSA personnel, Lopez agreed to a match in two weeks on Ultimate Hour.
The Main Event of Double Trouble Night One was El Orgullo vs Binglebottom Enterprises for the PSA Trios Championship. After Samuel pinned Ramirez with the Bottom Feeder, Binglebottom Enterprises successfully retained the Titles. As the trio celebrated in the ring, they were met with the return of The Disciples, who stood at the top of the ramp. Their goal is clear: they want to be Champions.
AFTER HOURS: 02/21/23
The bruised Virtuoso was once again obliterated by his competitor, El Gigante.
Jonsun Culinary Academy bounced back from their loss against JX2 by getting a win against Dennison Theatrics.
Anne Griffin hit a Talon from the top rope to pin Piggina for the victory.
Voltand defeated Leaf Sinn in an intense match with the Landungsbrücken.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 02/17/23
Ultimate Hour opened with the shocking return of Mark Cooper as the third entrant in the Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 4 Semifinals match against Cali Dynamite and Drew Pender. After an absolutely brutal encounter, Dynamite hit a Boomstick on Pender to get the win.
Gilgadar appeared backstage to tell Leonard Lopez that he’s sorry to disappoint him, but he’s exactly who he says he is. Unlike “The Jawbreaker,” he is actually comfortable in his own skin. However, Gilgadar offered him a solution: they can wrestle in one final match to finally “settle their differences.”
Brittany Blake hit the Britt Knee to make short work of Karen in advance of her match against Sheri Nichols next week at Double Trouble.
The Darakovs and BnB competed in tag team action next, with the winners facing JX2 at Double Trouble for the Tag Team Championship #1 Contendership. This was an absolute barnstormer, as both teams proved they have what it takes to be Champion. Even so, only one team could emerge victorious. To many’s surprise, Dr. Chris Chan distracted The Darakovs so that BnB could secure the win.
Before the Main Event, the feed flickered to show a figure the PSA Faithful have come to know as The Observer. He spoke of a place that was free from all sorrow; one that could release everyone from their pain. In this place, people are free to become their best selves; their true selves. The journey is not easy, but there is one man who can show everyone the way. He is “Damascus,” and he will lead us all to The Promised Land.
One of PSA’s hottest rivalries reignited when Pletch and Corwin faced off in the Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 1 Finals. The two could not keep the match in the ring, as the two brawled throughout the arena. Johnny Warren was at commentary, so Corwin took any opportunity he could to taunt the Champion. He soon went too far, as Warren stood up to stare down with the former Champion. This brief commotion caused Pletch, Corwin, and Johnny Warren to go flying through the Announce Table when Pletch hit a flying Pork Chop on both men. Neither man could reach the ring in time, which caused the first ever draw in PSA History. As a result, both Pletch and Corwin have been granted entry into the War Dome at Finest Hour for the PSA World Championship.
AFTER HOURS: 02/14/23
Trina Cooper defeated Princess Zelda following the Devastator.
Jim Everetts pinned Craig Robbins after the Leap of Faith to help JX2 get a tag team win over The Fab Few.
Bruno Bolousek crushed a defenseless Virtuoso on his path of destruction.
Leonard Lopez hit Anthony Justice with the Jawbreaker to emerge victorious in a competitive match. After the kontest, Lopez cut a scathing promo on Gilgadar. Not only did he never forget how much of a pathological liar “The Time Wizard” is, but he isn’t able to sleep at night because of it. He demands that Gilgadar cuts the lies and shows the world who he really is.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 02/10/23
The first match of the evening was the Season 1 Battle Nexus 3 Way Semifinals match between Pletch, Ben Richards, and the returning Leaf Sinn! The match was intense, but Pletch hit the Pork Chop on Sinn to win the match and advance to the Finals.
Marcee came down to the ring yet again to boast about her upcoming Championship match, but this time she was met with the Women’s World Champion, Heather N. Marcus. The Champion told Marcee that if she is so confident that she could win the match with her eyes closed, then that’s exactly what she will do. Out of nowhere, HNM pulled out high-intensity pepper spray and targeted the eyes of the challenger. PSA officials ran down to split the two up, but the damage had already been done.
Sheri Nichols faced Azura in singles competition next. The PSA Faithful were surprised to be introduced to Nichols’ new manager, Spack Jarrow, who claims to be a real pirate. Although this strange man appears to be taking advantage of Nichols, it is undeniable that he served a crucial role in securing the victory for PSA’s resident swashbuckler.
Dummy Wide came out to gloat about their amazing success as Tag Team Champions, but they were interrupted by several teams before they could even get a word out. This included The Darakovs, JX2, the Jonsun Culinary Academy, and BnB. The four teams all made one thing clear: they want Dummy Wide out of the tag team division, and they all think they are the team to do it. Dr. Chris Chan also tried to throw his hat in the ring, but The Darakovs knocked him out cold. This caused complete chaos in the ring that had to be broken up by Cory Parcher. He announced that the four teams in the ring will all get an opportunity to prove themselves worthy of a Tag Title shot, and that will begin next!
JX2 and the Jonsun Culinary Academy squared off first. JX2 used underhanded tactics throughout the match, and this strategy played a huge hand in James Jindrak pinning Dalton Pepper for the win.
Following El Orgullo’s win over the team of Lochlan and Dean Cottonsmith last week, it was announced that they have been given a Trios Championship match at Double Trouble against Binglebottom Enterprises. Samuel Binglebottom was seen yelling obscenities at his “friends” as he was ready to walk out for a match, but he turned to the camera and vowed that they will embarrass El Orgullo so badly that they will be lucky to ever show their faces in PSA ever again.
The Main Event of the evening was the Season 2 Battle Nexus All-Stars 3 Way Semifinals match. Andrew Frankowski and Samuel Binglebottom made their way to the ring, but the mystery third entrant was nowhere to be found. The PSA Faithful were disappointed that no one appeared, but the screen flickered to show footage of a familiar face: The Observer! The figure said he spent so long trying to watch others that he failed to look at the most important person of all: himself. Through months of self-discovery, he has found that his true purpose in life is to help others find “The Promised Land.” He begged for the PSA Faithful to remain patient; all will be revealed in due time.
Since The Observer failed to attend his match, the Season 2 Semifinals match became a singles match between Andrew Frankowski and Samuel Binglebottom. Both men desperately wanted the win, but Frankowski hit the Sandbag on S.O.B. to prove that he wanted it a little bit more.
AFTER HOURS: 02/07/23
In a Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 2 Semifinals matchup, Keith hit Jeff Jonsun with the Shock and Awe to advance to the Finals.
Trina Cooper hit the Final Destination to defeat Denise Dennison.
BnB won their tag team match against Dennison Theatrics when Ben Richards pinned Derek Dennison with the Money Bomb.
Brad Cooper faced Gigladar in a match with huge stakes; not only was this a Battle Nexus Tournament match, but the PSA Ultimate Hour Championship was being defended for the first time on After Hours. In the end, Cooper hit the Slaughterhouse to retain his Title and advance to the Season 4 Finals. After the match, Leonard Lopez came down to the ring and attacked a defenseless Gilgadar to close the show.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 02/03/23
To kick off Ultimate Hour, Jim Everetts grabbed a microphone before his entrance to address the PSA Faithful and his opponent, Corwin. Everetts said he’s tired of being treated as “less-than;” he is a former Champion, has beaten former World Champions, and he has dominated in battle royals. He is “Living Chaos,” and he’s going to prove that right now when he puts the locker room on notice.
Corwin and Jim Everetts clashed in the first Battle Nexus All-Stars Semifinals match. Corwin was as impressive as ever, but Everetts proved that he can hang with PSA’s finest. After kicking out of everything that was thrown at him, a bloody Jim Everetts passed out from Corwin’s brutal submission, Judgment.
Next, the fans welcomed back the former PSA Women’s World Champion, Brittany Blake. She was clearly upset that she no longer possesses the Title, but she is thankful that the PSA Faithful still supports her unconditionally. However, she was soon interrupted by Sheri Nichols. This was the first time we heard Nichols speak since she was brutally attacked by Olympus, and it was clear that there was something wrong. Not only did she believe herself to be a real pirate, but she blames Blake for the “skirmish” that sunk her career. Blake didn’t fully understand what she meant, but she told Nichols that if she’s got a problem with her, they can settle it in the ring. Cory Parcher then announced that Blake and Nichols will face one another on Night One of Double Trouble.
Josh Grabowski and Craig Robbins competed in a Season 3 Battle Nexus All-Stars Semifinals match. Despite defying all odds in the Qualifier, Robbins succumbed to Grabowski’s 10,000 Pound Gorilla.
Before the next match, Bruno Bolousek appeared backstage to discuss what’s next for him in PSA. Since his arrival, the “Moscow Menace” looked to conquer his opponents through combat. Following his recent losses, however, this has changed. He has been filled with an uncontrollable rage; all he craves is destruction.
Lochlan and Dean Cottonsmith represented Binglebottom Enterprises when they faced Miguel Francisco and Hernando Muertes of El Orgullo. In a shocking turn of events, Francisco hit Cottonsmith with the Grand Slam to get a huge win over the PSA Trios Champions!
The PSA Ultimate Hour Champion, Brad Cooper, appeared for the first time since his Title defense at Plugged In. Cooper mentioned how he was supposed to appear on the last edition of Ultimate Hour, but he decided to go on a celebration cruise instead. As punishment for now-showing the event, Cory Parcher appeared to inform Cooper that he will defend the Championship in his match with Gilgadar on the next episode of After Hours.
Marcee came down to the ring to address her upcoming PSA Women’s World Championship match at Double Trouble. As the inaugural Women’s World Champion, she knows what it takes to be at the top of the division. In fact, Marcee is so confident in her abilities that she claimed she could win the Title back with her eyes closed. We will see if this confidence is enough to become a two-time PSA Women’s World Champion.
The Main Event of the evening was the Season 3 Battle Nexus All-Stars 3 Way Semifinals match. The PSA Faithful already knew of TYSON and Louie Hamstring’s involvement, but they were thrilled to see the return of Doctor Phase! After an intense match, Doctor Phase proved that he’s as great as ever when he pinned Louie Hamstring with the Andown.
AFTER HOURS: 01/31/23
In a big-time Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 3 Qualifier, Voltand and Louie Hamstring waged war. In the end, however, Hamstring hit the Louisville Slugger to pin Voltand and get the win.
In the Season 4 Battle Nexus All-Stars 4 Way Qualifier, Gilgadar took out Derek Dennison and Dennis Dennison so that he could pin Gary Macintosh and advance to the next round.
Marcee continued to build momentum to her upcoming PSA Women’s World Championship match by defeating Princess Zelda with the Coochie Crush.
In the final Battle Nexus All-Stars Qualifier, Keith bested James Jindrak, Miguel Francisco, and Rafael Ramirez, who was pinned, to advance to the Semifinals.
ULTIMATE HOUR: 01/27/23
Ultimate Hour began with the arrival of The Owskis. Despite their loss at Plugged In, the team felt like they needed to speak to the PSA Faithful. They thanked the fans for always having their back, even when they didn’t hold up their end of the bargain. They promise to be champions again someday, but for now they are turning their focus to their singles careers in the Battle Nexus All-Stars Tournament. The partners shook hands and wished each other luck, but they were soon interrupted by Leonard Lopez. Lopez said that he was actually rooting for The Owskis; they had the opportunity to crush Drew Pender’s dreams, and he is always happy to see that. However, since they failed, he now hates The Owskis. He told Frankowski that he was going to beat him in the Battle Nexus yet again, but “The Engineer” promised that tonight would be different. We will see which man is right in our Main Event.
The first kontest of the evening saw Anne Griffin, Trina Cooper, Marcee, and Grace Adonis fight to become #1 Contender to the PSA Women’s World Championship. All four women were eager to get a shot at the new Champion, but one stood above the rest. Marcee submitted Anne Griffin with a guillotine choke to earn an opportunity to reclaim the gold.
The PSA World Champion, Johnny Warren, came down to the ring next. First, he wanted to give Dalton Pepper a lot of credit for his performance at Plugged In, as on another night he could have walked out as Champion. Since Warren retained the Title, however, he must now set his sights on the War Dome. To best scout out the competition, he will sit on commentary for matches in the Battle Nexus Tournament. Speaking of the Battle Nexus, the Tournament continues next!
The Season 1 Qualifier between Ben Richards and Dr. Chris Chan was first. Both men fought hard, but Richards hit the Bankroller and the Blood Money to advance to the next round.
As Ben Richards and Dr. Chris Chan were leaving the ring, they were both jumped by the PSA Hardcore Tag Team Champions, Dummy Wide. As the undisputed leaders of the Tag Team division, they believe it is their responsibility to dispose of anyone they deem as “weak.” They did it to The Owskis, they just did it to Richards and Chan, and now Drew Pender will do it again in his match with Anthony Justice, which starts next!
In the Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 4 Qualifier match between Drew Pender and Anthony Justice, both men pulled out all the stops. Pender tried to prove Justice was weak, but this match revealed quite the opposite. After an incredible bout, the “President” of Hardcore hit the Big Slammer to pin Justice and win the match.
After the grueling #1 Contendership match earlier this evening, Marcee was sent home to recover from her injuries. However, Heather N. Marcus still came down to the ring to address her upcoming opponent. The PSA Faithful hates seeing her as the PSA Women’s World Champion, but she relished in their frustration. HNM touted herself as the only undefeated wrestler in PSA, and she promised that this is not changing anytime soon. Marcee can try all she wants, but she will lose just like everyone else.
The Main Event of Ultimate Hour was Leonard Lopez vs Andrew Frankowski in a Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 2 Qualifier. This match was surprisingly brutal, as both men grew to despise one another across the bout. Frankowski hit Lopez with the Sandbag, but this was not enough to put him down. However, “The Engineer” hit “The Jawbreaker” with the Owskinator to pin Lopez and move on in the Tournament.
AFTER HOURS: 01/24/23
Dmitry Darakov, El Gigante, Anton Darakov, and Craig Robbins opened After Hours in a Season 3 Battle Nexus All-Stars Qualifier. Gigante hit Anton Darakov with the Jumbo Drop, but Robbins threw Gigante out of the ring to steal the win.
Cali Dynamite defeated Dean Cottonsmith with the Spitfire to win their Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 4 Qualifier.
Grace Adonis started off Season 5 with a convincing win over Karen.
The Season 1 Battle Nexus All-Stars 4 Way Qualifier was fought between Jim Everetts, Hernando Muertes, Chad Broski, and The Virtuoso. Amidst the intensity, Everetts hit The Virtuoso with a Taste of Chaos to secure the victory.
PLUGGED IN: 01/20/23
Welcome to PSA Season 5! We kicked off the best season yet with Roster Rumble 12. After 20 women fought for a spot on the PSA roster, Princess Zelda eliminated Chun-Li, Kassandra, and Bayonetta to win the match.
Next, Brittany Blake was set to defend the PSA Women’s World Championship against Heather N. Marcus. Before the match began, however, Sheri Nichols returned to exchange the Championship Kontest Contract! It was great to see her back, but the PSA Faithful were confused as to why she dressed and acted like a pirate. This addition complicated matters for HNM, as she was eager to defeat the Champion one-on-one. Even so, Marcus took advantage of the chaos by throwing Nichols out of the ring and pinning Blake to become the new PSA Women’s World Champion!
The PSA Ultimate Hour Championship was on the line between El Gigante and Brad Cooper. Gigante put in an incredible effort, but Cooper hit a Superman Punch and a Slaughterhouse to remain Champion.
The Battle Nexus All-Stars Tournament kicked off with Pletch facing Greg Richards in a Season 1 Qualifier. This match was intense, and Richards even hit Pletch with a Bloodshed off the apron! In the end, Pletch recovered enough to hit a diving Pork Chop and secure the victory.
A Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 2 Qualifier commenced next between Bruno Bolousek and Samuel Binglebottom. Bolousek was in a fit of rage following his loss at Christmas Calamity, so Binglebottom was eager to take advantage. He annoyed Bolousek throughout the match, which made it hard for "The Moscow Menace" to think strategically. After distracting the referee with a steel chair, S.O.B. hit Bolousek with a Bottom Feeder to win the match.
TYSON and Lochlan competed in a Battle Nexus All-Stars Season 3 Qualifier. Both men went through a war, but TYSON hit a Dome Driver to win the match and advance in the tournament.
Johnny Warren defended the PSA World Championship against the Season 4 Battle Nexus Winner, Dalton Pepper. The challenger proved that he is worthy of a top spot, as he took one of PSA’s best to the absolute limit. In the end, however, Warren retained the Title after hitting Pepper with the Shattering Infinity.
Plugged In was Main Evented by the long-awaited TLC Ladder Match between The Owskis and Dummy Wide for the PSA Hardcore Tag Team Championship. This was the most extreme of their encounters, which delighted the PSA Faithful. The Owskis were so close to reclaiming glory, but Drew Pender ran up the ladder and grabbed the Titles to crush The Owskis' dreams yet again.
