NEW YEAR'S ARRIVAL
RECAP

BALL DROP BATTLE ROYAL

PSA returned with the Ball Drop Battle Royal (Sponsored by Binglebottom Incorporated), where 20 men competed for a shot at Josh Grabowski’s PSA World Championship.  This also served as the debut for Trunk, who impressed the PSA Faithful when he eliminated Jim Everetts.  Other notable participants included Lochlan, who took out Richard Hale and Jeff Jonsun, and Dean Cottonsmith, who had 4 eliminations!  In addition to knocking James Jindrak, Brock Lee, and Trunk over the top rope, he also got revenge on Samuel Binglebottom when he entered as the surprise 20th entrant!  Despite Cottonsmith’s best efforts, however, this match was all about Shawn Westin.  He was determined to prove to his family that he’s not a loser, and he got one step closer to doing that when he scored 10 eliminations, clotheslined Dean Cottonsmith over the top rope, and won the match!  He will stand toe-to-toe with Josh Grabowski at PSA’s next Special Event: Plugged In.

MARIA PHOENIX IS ATTACKED BACKSTAGE

Before the next match began, it was reported that Maria Phoenix, who was meant to be a part of the Roster Roulette Championship match, was attacked in the parking lot by a mystery assailant!  It is unclear who this figure is, as the logo on their jacket has never been seen before, but Phoenix is not medically cleared to compete tonight.

BLAKE vs MARCIA vs CASTONOVA
vs LOUISE vs SHERI-
TABLES ELIMINATION FOR
ROSTER ROULETTE CHAMPIONSHIP

With Maria Phoenix out, the Tables Elimination match for the Roster Roulette Championship waged on between Cheese Louise, Brittany Blake, Cruella Castonova, Marcia, and Swashbucklin’ Sheri.  Louise started the match with a bang, as she put Castonova through a table with a brutal northern lights suplex.  Her excitement didn't last long, however, as Marcia hit her with the Death Parade through another table to bring the field down to three participants. Blake and Marcia got into a scuffle, with “La Muñeca Muerta” scoring another elimination to get her one-on-one confrontation with the Champion.  Sheri was prepared for this, however, and she Cannonballed Marcia through a flaming table to remain Roster Roulette Champion!

THE FRATERNALS vs THE OWSKIS

The Main Event of New Year’s Arrival saw The Owskis team up for the first time in 615 days against two of their greatest foes, Drew Pender and Corwin.  Dubbed “The Fraternals,” the twins looked to teach their opponents a lesson about brotherhood.  Unfortunately for them, Andrew and Josh were not going to go down without a fight.  On the first show of the year, The Owskis and The Fraternals gave The PSA Faithful what could be the greatest match of the year!  In this wicked matchup where every fan in the arena was on their feet, Andrew Frankowski pinned Corwin with the return of the Sandbag to start the reunion of The Owskis off on the right foot!
